Rustenburg inn is one of the best affordable guesthouse/lodges I've stayed in, i would direct anyone to it on any day. thank you to the staff for the warm welcome despite the loadshedding. My Fiance and I are very happy with the place and look forward to visiting again.

pleasant stay

We stayed in one of the self catering chalets from late December 2018 to early January 2019. The chalet does not have air-conditioning and one of the beds had a broken base. It did however have all of the basic amenities and the cleaning services was very good. The chalet does not have a kitchen but in the main house, there was very large kitchen that was shared by guests.We struggled to find knives and teaspoons and only some of the gas plates worked. The staff did not inform us about the power outages that took place on two different days however overall they were friendly and dis their best to assist when required. Safe parking inside with a small pool in the cortyard area with barbecue facilities.
Verdict: If you looking for a high quality experience, then this is not for you..this is intended to satisfy persons who is happy with fairly basic facilities. If you're spending more time at the establishment then perhaps you need to find a different place but if you're using this as a base to sleep whilst enjoying other activities then Rustenberg Inn may just be perfect for you.

Good and not so good experiences...

Arrived there and the rooms weren't ready but the staff was sitting outside relaxing. We had to move the beds ourself. The last thing you need after a long drive is heavy lifting. Other than that the place is fine. 

Client service needs to be implemented

The stove wasn't working the whole weekend. We we were given a terribly slow 2 burner coil cook-top which we had to share with other customers. We were short of kitchen utensils. We were told to wash the dishes though there was no dish-washing liquid. It was only availed later. We struggled to get an iron for our clothes. At one point we had to go calling and knocking at one employee for him to help with the iron,but he wasn't in.

POOR SERVICE

we went on a couple's holiday this past weekend, we were 6 couples. When we got to the place, the rooms were not prepared, we had to wait for them to fix up the rooms, and this was at 21:00 at night. we had booked for 2 nights, the next day we went to sun-city and when we came back, our rooms were not cleaned the beds not made, the area we had our supper the previous night was still dirty. We had arranged for a late check out when making the booking...but we were asked to vacate the rooms because they needed to clean and knock off! The gardener came back drunk on Saturday and he was troubling us, no one came to call him to order. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE AT ALL!!!
