We had the most wonderful stay with Tessa and Friedel , it felt like a home away from home. They were the perfect hosts and went beyond that which is expected ,to accommodate us. With the pandemic hitting its second wave we felt safe in this environment.

Fabulous people

Well I arrived at Hope Villa to be greeted by very a friendly hostess and her husband, the venue was spotless with lots of safe secure shaded parking, the arrival area was perfectly situated with comfortable seating after a long drive, the room was 5 star and very spacious.
The sea and coffee shop was a stone throw away
The hosts were extremely friendly and joined in for a chat, the breakfast was fantastic and I really enjoyed my stay and will return when next in Knysna.
Look forward to returning.

Hope Villa Knysna

We got a very warm welcome from Hosts Tessa and Friedel, who were more than happy to do anything to ensure our stay was perfect.

The rooms were clean and comfortable and the breakfast hit the spot !

The location is too far to walk into Knysna, but Tessa sorted out a driver Johann who was available to take us into Knysna and bring us back. 

Great location on the Heads and very quiet.

Great Place to stay and explore the area.

Friendly hosts, always taking care of details.  Our room was so comfortable that we feel at home.  It was our first time in Knysna, you can be sure that location is great!   It is really close to a breathtaking view point.  We enjoyed our stay!

Great location and atmosphere

Warm welcome and super friendly family like  atmosphere, flexible, privacy and relax at Pool, early bird Breakfast outside with Birds watching
and individual ! informations for Restaurants and tours even for me not to be First time here.
Safe easy parking and night lights on the way to the room (load shedding)

Excellent atmosphere & location to explore Knysna

Located in the heads it's just a walk from the beautiful view point. Also the East Head Cafe is just around the corner which is worth a visit. 

The waterfront, Thesen Island and Featherbed tours are just a10 minute car ride away.

The pool is nice and you can obersve weaverbirds buliding their nests. We were lucky and saw a very close nearby south african harrier!

If you like omlette for breakfast ask the host. It was delicious. Also ask the hosts if you are not sure what to experience in the Knysna area. They know it very well.

Perfect location and value for money

I arrived after dark and was the only guest that night. Tessa and Friedel went out of their way to make sure I was well taken care of. They advised me on many things to do in the area. And of course cannot beat the location right by Knysna Heads!

Great location, accommodating hosts

Enjoyed the warm hospitality and friendly and helpful hosts.  Excellent breakfasts prepared by Friedel.  We enjoyed the historic charm of this antique cottage with modern amenities.  The venue is excellently placed at the Heads and lows easy access to all you wish to enjoy!

Excellent Stay at Hope Villa!

We had 1 night at Hope villa and regretted we did not plan for a longer stay.  The accommedation is comfortable and well decorated.  The owners did do everything to make our stay optimum with an extensive breakfast and very good suggestions on activities in the surrounding.

Great stay!

We have been to the Hope Villa for the second time and again we had the best stay ever! Tessa and Friedl are the best host ever and had the best advises for a second time to discover Knysna!
We had and excellent breakfast and the room was superb. The Hope Villa is placed at the Knysna lagoon where you have a stunning View.
When ever you are in Knysna go and book this fantastic place to be with the best hosts ever !!
