Carol and her team are really lovely hosts. The breakfast ist excellent and the whole location is really lovely.

Modern and stylish Guest House

Very nice decor, the attention to detail was fantastic. Towels for round the pool, water and milk in the bridge. Brilliant mountain views and the breakfast was to die for, never had so much food for brekkie. Theresa was a wonderful, helpful host and her staff were friendly and efficient.

This was our 3rd time at Bamboo and its still the best guesthouse experience ever! From spotless rooms, the most comfortable beds to wonderful bathrooms with great showers, this guesthouse will not disappoint! The breakfasts are fantastic and there is more than enough with delicious coffee. More than everything already mentioned the exceptional service by the friendly staff and manager Theresa is just on another level. Nothing but nothing is to much trouble for them! I just love bamboo guesthouse and look forward to our stay in 2025!

We are two female friends travelling through SA and found the welcome here both warm and sincere.  The location is safe and a good walk to town and to Cove bay along the beautiful coastal path.  Staff were so helpful.  We had a great time in Hermanus. Thank you!

A great stay.

This guesthouse is cleverly and thoughtfully designed, with plenty of open spaces and high quality fittings throughout. The rooms are lovely with a variety of views. It is immaculately maintained and the staff are excellent and work together to ensure guests are really well looked after. Minutes from the coastal path it is also an easy walk into Hermanus. We loved our stay here and would definitely stay again.

Beautiful guesthouse with excellent service

Fantastic location. Close to contour path, beaches an Padel court. There is also a cool weekend market in walking distance. 
The house is super neat and tastefully decorated. 
Our host was super friendly and helpful.  Breakfasts where amazing.

The absolute best Guest House in Hermanus! The owner, Carol is so friendly and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. Decor is beautiful, breakfast is amazing, relaxing outdoor area is so peaceful, luxurious bath and spacious accommodation. Very sad to leave after 3 wonderful nights but will definitely be back as soon as possible.

Great environment to take a well-deserved break, 5/5. Attention to detail in terms of service and quality of the meals was amazing. Access to the shops, golf course is just a walk away, not to mention access to great walks along the shoreline of Hermanus. Thank you for a memorable stay.

Bamboo Guest House (Hermanus)

From the moment you arrive one gets an immediate feeling that this a truly serene space. The rooms are exquisitely beautiful and tastefully appointed. The super soft linen and towels are ultra luxurious. The common guest areas are very comfortable and simply yet, tastefully decorated. Meals were delicious and the sumptuous breakfasts sustained us throughout our golf rounds. After golf the tranquil pool area was a welcome oasis. The wine list offered a good variety of the top local producers and the list of other alcoholic beverages was more than sufficient. The fun, friendly, efficient and attentive team of Carol, Theresa and the kitchen ladies were always around ready to  satisfy our every wish. With its proximity to the golf course Bamboo is a must for any golfers who want to experience Hermanus at its very best. All in all a top class property that deserves more than the official 4* and certainly scores a 10 on our recent experience.
