well situated - close to airport and to newlines area - which is quaint, busy, vibe and has good restaurants. The manager was exceptionally helpful and friendly.  The rooms were clean , natural light and comfortable. Breakfast was fresh, coffee was hot!

This place is fabulous, the staff are professional and friendly. No ask was too much. The room was awesome, big, spacious and tastefully decorated. The breakfast was also good. I would defiantly

Fabulous B&B

The service was excellent. The room was clean. Lights are battery operated in the case of load-shedding. You are able to charge your devices during loadshedding with the mini power station in the room. 

Value for money

We only stayed a night but we were made to feel welcomed. The staff were very friendly. Our room was spacious, clean and warm . The breakfast was delicious. The Wi-Fi worked very well and there were tea and coffee facilities in the room. The position of the guest house is a little tricky from the main road . Thank you for a lovely stay. 

Lovely Guesthouse

Very friendly and supportive staff. Phillip and Steven were the best. The guesthouse itself also feels like home. Very private and warm feeling. The location is central and easy to access. Parsley Suite only becomes a bit noisy in the mornings during the week because of the school next door. Otherwise everything else is perfect. 

Excellent and warm reception at Roodenburg House

The staff were extremely hospitable and helpful. The breakfast was superb as is the tranquil pool lounge and area with its beautiful mountain view. There is ample parking albeit that the entrance is difficult to find, so requires better signage. On the downside there is a bit of noise from the school depending on which room you are in but only during the day and the bar area should be stocked at least with waters and refreshments. 

Would definitely stay again

We were made very welcome at the guesthouse Philip and his team couldn’t have done more. Delicious breakfast, freshly cooked. Inviting pool and loungers. 
While the location might not be perfect for everyone, it was perfect for us. Everywhere in the Cape easily accessible. A couple of restaurants within walking distance. Would recommend it to everyone 

Wonderful guesthouse

The B&B welcome was poor, no generator for load shedding, water issues and completely unhelpful with regards to checking out early, early breakfast etc. The location is good but honestly I could not recommend anyone to stay there.

Poor Experience

The stay was pleasant, the staff was really helpful and friendly. Great view from window, good setup on indoor with place to ready, exercise and relax. Outdoor relaxing area, a lot of cookies with coffee. The entrance to the house is a bit concealed but I would definitely visit again. 

Stay at Roodenburh House

Roodenburg House was a great choice for a small meeting - there were four of us, but it could probably stretch to 6 or 8. It was quiet, private, light and very comfortable.  The staff are very helpful - they set up the room and catered an excellent and generous coffee break.  One of the group was from out of town and stayed over the night before in a lovely room.  The location was perfect for participants coming from the airport and various parts of the city.  I recommend it, not just as a guesthouse but also as a meeting venue.
