Our stay was made very comfortable and pleasant by the host (Merryl) who went out of her way to make sure that everything was to our satisfaction.
The place was very neat and tidy and the views from the stoep was great.
Enjoyed our stay, and will recommend highly.   

Hoopoe McGregor

We had a lovely stay at the cottage, it was warm and inviting, the kitchen was well stocked with the essential appliances. Beautiful view from the stoep. Meryll was a lovely host who went out of her way to make us feel at home.

Cosy cottage

We stayed for 4 nights at Cape Cottages Maggie's Gift in McGregor and enjoyed each moment. We went through for the Wacky Wine festival but also wanted a place where we could relax. 

The cottage has everything you need. Even a dishwasher! The beds are very warm and comfortable. The showers are fantastic! The gardens are very well kept and we enjoyed opening up the curtains for the view. 

The wi fi reception is not good and dips a lot, but this is a problem for the whole area and not any fault of the cottage.

We will definitely return and spend more happy days and nights here!

A  must stay!

We so enjoyed our stay here. Very pretty cottage with everything you need. Lovely little garden with BBQ. Quiet and restful, with local shops a short walk away.
There is a wonderful coffee shop/ restaurant further up the road worth a visit. The whole area is quain and feels safe.

Pretty

Nice cute cottage, good value for money. Having the cat @ the cottage was very pleasant.Having to set the shower temperature, vey difficult. Otherwise, the fire place made up for the cold.The setting is superb, nice if you like walking about.
