We came on a dinner in their restaurant. Upon arrival, we were warmly welcomed and seated in the hunting room, which was very homely furnished (everything was in wood). In a few minutes, a waiter was at our table. The food was delicious. A waiter was checking on us if everything was ok, and he also took the time to talk to us and engaged in a pleasant conversation. We definitely recommend a visit to the restaurant, and we will certainly return to them when we will wander around Radovljica.

Great food, service and friendliness

Comfortable hotel in a great location! Walk to the old town area with shops and restaurants, but definitely have a meal or two on the property. Toni and his staff went out of their way to accommodate our group and make sure we had a very pleasant stay. Great views also!

Great Place!!

Kunstelj Pension, a well-run two-star pension situated in the quiet and picturesque Radovljica.
A good base for exploring the area.
Nice breakfast, the dinner was tasty, but it could be more varied.
Excellent service.
We wish the owner to have the energy to keep the business going, despite personnel challenges following the covid years.

We ordered appetizer, soup and main course with some wine. Young waitress was polite but she had no clue what she was doing.
We got soup together with the appetizer paté…Enjoy your juggling between soup and paté. Fast and furious 10 or more I guess, because the minute we ate soup and were half way through paté, there was the main course. Seriously? In and out in under 30 minutes or what? So I complained and they said-oh, we’ll put it somwhere hot for a while. And all that for a lot of money. Total ripoff! DO NOT RECOMEND AT ALL. 
The view is great, the place is OK, food was so-so.
Paté quite good, pork very good, beef fillet very boring and almost tasteless, soup also good.
The wine was also good.
We live nearby and as sure as I’m writing this, we are never ever going near this place ever again.

Crazy fast

Very slow service. You have prepare yourself for waiting. The quality and quantity are not proportionate to the (higher) prices. If you find dirt (ground) in not properly washed lettuce it is not a good sign. If you have to order the waiter, to bring drinks 3 times...to get one on the table is simply bad service - for not so reasonable price. Apoligy  is just not enougt. Like a Slovenian, I can NOT recommend this place to you. You can eat much better for much less money. For me it was just the firts and the last stop over there.

Lunch - NOT RECOMMEND

This meal was delicious and very authentically Slovenia.  It was a lovely experience.  The waiter had great recommend for both foods and wine.  The environment was clean, rustic and pleasant.  We would definitely recommend it and do again in the future.

Delicious dinner

We booked the Kunstelj for New Years and we were so glad we did. The service was fantastic, the food was great, and the wine was even better. It was a great way to see in the New Years, and very memorable. Thank you!

Excellent New Years meal

We were 3 couples out for dinner and decided to explore outside of the capital. Had the carrot soup with ravioli for starters and buckwheat dumplings, both mouthwatering. The mains, however, are the reason we're knocking off a point: the veal was uneventful and the fish rather bland.

Traditional fare with some outstanding features

We spend there one night during our vacation in Slovenia and we really enjoyed it. Everything was clean, new and nice. Breakfast was just great. Everything freash and tasty. Service was just incredible - smiling and very nice all the time. Definitely recommended!

Perfection!

Looks bit better on the pictures than in reality, can recommend for shorter stays however . We were looking for a short stop at Lake Bled, and this place is way cheaper than closer to the lake (although it is like 15 mins driving distance only). The room was clean (family room for 2 adults and 2 children) and the view from the terrace is stunning. Restaurant is also ok from quality vs. price perspective. It was sometimes difficult to find someone from the staff around the reception/dining area as only one person was serving the whole place. Staff was very friendly and helpful although. Selection at breakfast is quite narrow, but ok for a shorter stay.
