I visited this hostel on my trip to Belgrade, Serbia and the staff was very helpful, the room was amazing and with a great view of the city. 

Definitely recommend it for budget travelers who would like to be close to bars but also historical monuments.

Great hostel right in the center

Stayed here a few nights and left accidentally my wallet next to the locker, which was wholly backed by the nice Tunisian receptionist Raouf. For the rest it is a clean and cheap place, shared room is spacious and has a balcony, central location.

Great relationship price/quality.
Dorms are confortable, the place is very clean. Staff is great and help you when you need something. 
Free Wi-fi works perfectly and they have laundry service and if you need to go to other city you can ask them to reserve a place on a mini bus without any extra charge.
I arrived by bike and it was possible to keep the bike safe.

I'll stay there next time I'll go to Belgrade

Terrible place. Nobody seems to work there and it therefore attracts some strange people. There is no security, anyone can come in and out. I did not feel comfortable at all - and I have travelled in some really dodgy places. Definitely worth paying a couple dollars more to stay elsewhere. 

Sleep with one eye open

Well, my boyfriend and I never stayed here in the end and I'm glad! We arrived around 4pm without a booking but the man said that's fine. He showed us a bed and said we could sleep there. I asked about the registration white card and he said he doesn't know how to do it but come back in an hour and half and he'll call the girl who does. (We wanted to ensure we could get our legal white cards straight away). Anyway, we returned later as he told us and we walked through the main door and we couldnt see him. He was in the sleeping dormitory room on the sofa with his laptop and he shouted thru, without getting up to address us, that it couldn't be done til the following day. I stood there frustrated and began to ask him further advice/questions and he interrupted me to say he's too busy now and to leave him alone for 15 mins as he has 'very important work' to be done. He said it was none of our business what he was doing but that he was applying for something and only had limited time. Shocked, we walked back into the main corridor and noticed the WiFi password so connected, in an attempt to find another hostel nearby. After FINALLY prying himself away from his laptop, he approached us and said how furious he was that we had interrupted him and that I was very disrespectful for not letting him get on with his work. He continued to say how he doesn't work for the hostel and is merely assisting and receiving no salary and that he has More important things to do than answer our questions. I told him how rude he is and that regardless of his financial matter, his role is to WORK, ASSIST and RUN the hostel during this night shift. He seemed not to care and that I could book a night or if not, I could leave..safe to say I did NOT want to stay there! He is a middle aged dark haired man who I believe to be Serbian but ii couldn't tell. He is the most rude man to ever work in customer service and hospitality - I work in this industry!; and he should not even be left near this hostel with responsibility as he clearly has no interest in the popularity or reviews this place receives. Perhaps other staff are nice, but this man thinks its okay to tallk to CUSTOMERS like that and sit on his laptop in the dormitory sleeping area whilst guests lsleep... No no no! Management - get rid! He is not helpful or kind and certainly lost money from us! Even IF he was nice, I wouldn't want to sleep in that dorm room whilst he's sitting on the sofa in the same room disturbing everyone! Awful...will never return or recommend thanks to hi!m!
