I stayed at Ela two nights in June. Pensiunea Ela is located on a narrow and quiet street not far from old town. At nights there were no sounds of traffic at all. Room was pleasant and atmospheric. Ela and staff were very helpful and always asking is everything ok. Highly recommended.

Friendly and cozy

We were accommodated for a few days at Pension Ela and we liked it a lot. The children were able to play in the yard, on the grass, the room was very clean and a great atmosphere. Located close to the historic center, on a quiet and clean street.

A  beautiful place in Sibiu

Beautiful rustic place, very,VERY clean,offers daily clean, amazing location-close to everything!(10 mins walking from train station, 5 mins from the rest of what’s to visit and sightsee).
It offers a common kitchen(may store foods,drinks,prepare), internet,heat(winter when we went), hair dryer, clean towels daily,tv with cable, nice big room and again-affordable with awesome features and perfect location! 
All the way from Florida-very much enjoyed ourselves! 
Super friendly staff,very nice people! Accepts cash and card. 
I give 5 stars-highly recommend! 

Clean,affordable,best location!

Comfy beds, close to big square, nice guest, quiet place, free parking available on the street. 
Due to wood construction of the walls and ceiling, you might be a little disturb by the others, but overall is a very good and cheap place to stay!

Review

We stayed here for three nights. Good location as it was quiet and an easy walk to the sights. The room was clean and comfy, the bathroom small but clean. 

Ela was very nice and gave us suggestions of what to see in Sibiu as well as a restaurant to try. She also helped us book accommodation for the next city we were going to visit.

A lovely place to stay

Very quiet pension just 10 min walking from Historic centre.
Very quiet street.
Easy to park a car.

Rooms are under the roof and can get very hot in the summer.

No breakfast proposed. You can make your own one in the kitchen.

Friendly staff but not very present at the pension.
They're just passing by.
Ok if you don't need help or assistance.

The bad thing is that the owner forces you to pay in cash and doesn't see to accept credit card.

It cost me a 20€ fee to withdraw this amount of money at the ATM.
Not good for clients.

Nice and quiet but....

The location is great, very close to city center and the host is very nice. Rooms are ok, clean, confortable. There is a kitchen available if you want a tea or to eat something. Great value for money.

Perfect choice

It’s week located and the owner is friendly. There is a useful room for coffee and tea and the room is ok. It’s 10min walking to the city centre and you an park in front of the hotel. I recommend it..

It’s good

A wonderfully warm, friendly and helpful greeting at this lovely pensiunea.  Large room which was very clean, big fluffy towels, wifi was good, hot water with good pressure and in such a great location being so close to all the main attractions.  Great to be able to make a cup of tea or coffee in the little kitchen, and although you can't cook we made rolls for lunch and sat here with friends to eat cold chicken and salad.  The beds are extremely firm and although I have slept on some hard beds I found I didn't sleep well.  Some cold nights while we were there, down to zero and slightly below, and the heating is good when it comes on, but only two hours in the evening and one hour from 6:30am in the morning it was a tad chilly when showering and dressing outside these few hours.
