We love it here! We can't think of another place to stay when visiting Oradea. The location is very good, very green and peaceful, very close to the center. The rooms are spotless and cozy and give you a nice feeling of home and comfort. Andras is such a polite and wonderful host!

The staff offers you take from a place you love. Fitting the Court impressed us. Austere apartment, but with good taste. At the table in the room, the bathroom is very clean.
Breakfast is included in the price and offers quality products, even natural honey and jam from the jar on every meal! 
Price-quality ratio is excellent for families with children.

Posticum is a cultural organization of Christian spirituality based in Oradea. The major commitment is to cultivate Christian monastic traditions in a worldly environment. The dialogue with other, non-Christian religions, especially with their traditions of contemplative practices, is essential to our initiative, as ''world ethos”, a notion created by Swiss theologian Hans Küng, deeply influenced our way of thinking.
In designing and creating the building, the main concern was to express aesthetically the spirit of the association, so that visitors may feel Posticum’s mission instinctively. The unique architecture of the building, born amid lengthy ruminations and concerns, conveys openness, balancedness and temperance, and inspires the spontaneous realisation of similar inner values. The cultural centre has become one of the special colours and definig scenes of Oradea, where people can not only relax, but also get connected to a spiritual environment that inspires a truer, more authentic and more humane life.

Posticum is both a retreat center (they do Zen retreats etc.) and a hostel/pension. Situated in a quiet part of town with great, spacious rooms that are very well furnished, a nice lounge and an equally nice garden, this is a very good place to stay.
