Since 2015 we are visiting Pensiunea Malina at least once a year because it's the perfect location to enjoy a nice, quiet weekend in a mountainous area. The members of the staff are very kind and cheerful, they do everything they can to make you feel at home. 
Rooms are spacious, beds are comfortable and cleanliness is immaculate. There are toiletries, glasses and towels offered. 
The food is more than enough, the dishes are tasty and diverse and you have the opportunity to enjoy some of the best traditional Romanian meals, such as bulz (polenta with sour cream) with kneaded cheese and smoked sausages. 
The landscapes are some wonderful, with Moeciu de Sus being surrounded by mountains. It is quite close to Bran Castle and even closer to Cheile Gradistei, Fundata sky resort. 
In the courtyard there is a rocking chair near the river (that goes through the yard), the ideal place to enjoy some fresh air in the morning. Additionally, there is a backyard playset for children and a trampoline. Inside, there is a ping pong table, the perfect way to end an evening. 
Hosts and employees are more than perfect, everything is done with care and passion. We will definitely come back and we recommend Pensiunea Malina to anyone who wants to discover the area or anybody who wants to enjoy a delightful holiday in Brasov County.

A delightful corner of heaven in Brasov County

For several years now we travel in May to Moieciu de Sus for the Ecomarathon trail running event. We are always discovering beautiful places to stay in and Pensiunea Malina is such an example. We found it through booking.com and we were drawn by its good reviews there.
Location: Excellent. On Strada Principala, about 1,5 km from the center of Moieciu de Sus and of the start of the Ecomarathon. Easy to walk there. For getting there, I would recommend to use your GPS. The B&B does not have a sign indicating its location, from the street. We actually entered and inquired the owners whether they were the ones we were looking for. The house has a large courtyard, a rocking chair, a nice covered terrace very attractive in the summer, The views from the house are extremely nice, the surroundings are quiet and serene, and a crick is offering a very romantic sound. BBQ in the yard, also.
The rooms. The quality of the interior is very good. The rooms are mostly very, very big, all of them with balconies. Each view is equally beautiful. One room, I believe 4 (if I'm not mistaken) is considerably smaller. Two suggestions to the owners: please consider changing the mattress and the pillows, and maybe also the TV. Nothing significant wrong with them, but they are slightly outdated, and improvements can be made. However, I must stress that I believe the owner mentioned they are going to perform a renovation of the house, so all for the best. At the first floor you will find a very large and inviting common dinning area, at the full disposal of the guests, as well a fully equipped kitchen. Big fridge, dishes, cutlery, glasses, microwave oven, tea, coffee, sugar etc. are also available and at your disposal. 
Staff. We had little interaction  with the owners, but they were always around, I believe they also live there or in a house next door. Though we did not discuss with them about their accommodation, the quality of this Pension Malina tells something about their attention and care for this business. 
Meal plan. We had no meal plan included. We brought our own food and beverages. However, you can ask them to cook you meals and they will do it, you just need to tell them a little bit in advance.
We keep Pensiunea Malina in mid for our next trip to Moieciu de Sus, it is a very good choice for a quiet getaway.
