It's a quiet place, a little out of town, I felt like I was missing a support because I rarely got to see anyone, the rooms are comfortable, very late check-in at 4:00, you pay for a stay of at least 24 hours, your check-out has to be until 11:00.

Modern

Everything was perfect. From the quality and cleanliness of the accommodation (which is super well equipped!), the infrastructure and outdoor space super well taken care of and a sympathy and readiness to highlight by the staff, Mrs. Mariana and Mr. Manuel are a sympathy. The place is absolutely beautiful. We spent a dream weekend, with family. Quietness, tranquility and plenty of space to have fun with the little girl who at the end did not want to leave. ☺️ Highly recommended! We will return!

A dream place for a quiet family day!

The location is three to four kilometers from the beach so you can't hear any noise. We had cabin number seven with a free view of the natural lake. You can relax perfectly here, even if all food and drink has to be brought here.

Other species

I recommend it to anyone who wants to spend a few days relaxing and in touch with nature. The houses are ideal comfort. The kitchen is in good condition. The only disadvantage is access by car, with a few holes on the road. Ideal for those who don't have jeeps.

Rest

- the place is incredible, ideal for anyone who wants isolation, rest, relax, because there's not much to do, but that was undoubtedly our goal, to rest and be in touch with nature. away from the hustle and bustle, you only hear the noise of passersby. these factors were undoubtedly the most valuable to me. - the apartment is air-conditioned, has wifi - the shower is very good - we chose the breakfast option, and it wasn't good. Come and bring the breakfast in a basket at the time you order, to eat in the apartment. throughout the stay we didn't see anyone, which for us was a problem.

Amazing place to rest and relax

The place is nice and secluded. I found it too expensive for what they offer.
Given that it's a long and unpleasant drive to the next town I think they should at least offer breakfast and the option to buy frozen meals.
The cabins are cute but they are too close to each other. Not much a sense of privacy.

Too expensive for what they offer

Reviews were already good, but it turned out even better than expected : Calm, secluded and beautiful place, extremely warm and friendly staff, beautiful settings and refreshing "bio" pool (if you can accomodate swimming with cute little frogs, and don't be put off by the color of the pool, the water is actually crystal clear but inevitably algaes are developping at the bottom of this kind of pool. The lodges are very confortable and smartly furnished to be self sufficient for meals, as there is no restaurant service.
We spent a long and very relaxing week-end at Cocoon, and in our opinion this is THE place to stay in the Comporta/Carvahal area. 
We'll be back most certainly. A big thank you to Mariana and the staff overthere !

Great, really Great

I loved the experience. The bungalows are well equipped, the road is well signposted and the landlords on the property are very friendly and helpful. Very good for anyone who wants to rest from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Quiet and Quiet

We love nature and we’re sold by the idea of tranquil lodges in the forest.  We agree the lodges were lovely and quiet but there are some key things which you need to be aware of if you are going to stay here; 
1 - you must have a hire car as it is very cut off.  It involves driving down a 3.5 mile bumpy dust track which isn’t easy and you will only want to do once a day. 
2 - we were looking forward to wild swimming but the lake is not inviting.  We braved it once and were the only ones as it’s very murky and full of frogs.  The beach is a much better option. 
3 - we love biking but the bikes on offer are very poor and there’s no decent roads to bike on anyway. 
4 - the outdoor terraces arent used due to the large amount of flies and midgies. 
5 - lastly the lodges are built to a low standard and the worst point being drain smells in the bathroom due to no or incorrectly fitted traps.

So overall it’s a shame as the rural setting is fantastic and these lodges could offer soo much more.

Misleading

I've been to your lodging recently and it's regrettable the contempt that is given to guests. Four days of stay and the only person you meet is an extremely nice and always attentive cleaning lady. It's regrettable the outdoor furniture is all shaking, the lake is extremely dirty with dead creatures garbage along the pine trees the gardens are very poorly cared for or rather not of all care.
