I was deployed for work and actually stayed here for 3months... The owner is very attentive to guests' needs and so are the hosts. What I liked here is that you have a 'Tambayan' where you can enjoy other's company and just relax, use my laptop (for work purposes)... They also have free WiFi so I got no problem sending reports to our office. I can also use their kitchen (ref, stove,plates, kitchen utensils), have free coffee/water and all these in an affordable price. 👌👌👌

All in One

Got this recommended from a friend but it was a big letdown. The room we got was next to the common area and reception where people were loud into late hours, guest partying and personal watching action movies on very loud volume. Also the fan that was supposed to be in the room was no where to be found.

The roof was moving seriously 10cm when people were walking upstairs, it sounded and looked like it could come down at any time. Room next door had bedbugs which was noticed at 1am, these people had to sleep outdoors and decided to have a party instead making it impossible for any other guests to sleep as well.

I guess that for partying and get absolutely no sleep this place works, but it's pretty much all it works for. It's cheap but there are plenty of cheap places that have better standard.

Safe and Comfortable Place

Located a short distance from the airport (10 mins in a tricycle) the hostel is close to the main high street which has restaurants, banks and shops. The room was basic, set in a bamboo style tree lodge, with ensuite. There was no toilet seat or hot water, however, there was a fan in the room and the hostel had 24 hour electricity. Hostel has chill out areas with hammocks and board games. After travelling most of Palawan this basic accommodation seems in keeping with the price charged.

Basic accommodation good for price 

I happened upon Dallas Inn while looking for a comfortable place to spend 2 days acclimating to the Phillippines.  It is not fancy, but it is comfortable and welcoming with a really nice vibe.  The staff was incredibly accommodating with everything from allowing me to cook my own food (I keep kosher and needed to prepare Shabbat with my own pot and pan) using their kitchen to taking the time to help me plan my short week in Palawan.  It is centrally located and I felt safe and at home there.  Kudos to the entire staff and my apologies for it taking so long to write my review.  I spent 2 nites at the beginning of my week and another nite at the end and I can't say enough about how warm and friendly and helpful the staff was.
