We got the highest tier beachfront access villas with AC. We were pleasantly surprised to find that dormitels was connected to eco hotels, a bigger and higher end hotel, and the staff was more than helpful. Every time before we left the hotel we inquired how much a trike would cost from that location. The given price by the drivers was always higher and we chewed them down to the price given by them. Location is great as even tho it is really not in front of the beach as advertised, it’s part of a little cluster with some of the best food we found on the island! Altrove for pizza and the Israeli falafels were to die for!  

I actually didn't expect much for the price but was pleasantly surprised. I had an air conditioned room, small but just fine. There was only one electrical outlet which was a challenge but you have to remember where you are, power is not always a given. No Hot water, again, where you are... The staff was great, simple breakfast and lots of boat tours leave near the location. Would stay again !!

It was so close to the beach. The room was great for the price. It's walking distance to the main town for the tours. Hot and cold water was provided all day. Good wifi. The staff are friendly and helpful. I loved staying here.The name of the property is confusing as it was hard to find as nobody knew what it was. It is actually owned by Eco Hotels. So it should be renamed so guests can find it quickly. They should also put more hooks and shelves in the room to help with storage.

After reading other reviews I was preparing myself for the worst but I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. The biggest problem was finding the hotel - it’s actually connected to the Eco Suites hotel, and the name Dormitels is nowhere to be seen. It’s also marked wrong on the map - follow Google maps and you’ll find it. I walked up and down the beach for 20 minutes with my stuff searching for the hotel. Check in was fast and easy. My room was fine. The rooms are small, but comfortable. Double bed, Air conditioning and private bathroom. The water is not great but this is normal in this area of Palawan. You can shower and wash hands, however, need to use bottled water to brush teeth etc. there was only cold water in the shower, but for me that was fine as it was boiling hot anyway. The location is stunning. The beach is seconds from the room - and sunsets are insane here. I walked into El Nido town every morning to do the boat trips - it took about half an hour. Or 100 pesos for a tricycle. Loads of great food options right by the hotel too.

This is my nth time going to El Nido, after my de tour to Port Barton and Long Beach San Vicente Palawan, upon my return to Dormitels - I am surprised by how the management and keep up of this place have significantly improved.
This is my first time to stay in a female dormitory because I am on a budget (the 13th month pay is still two months ahead!)  The rest room is clean (though due to hair strands and sands the drain clogs most of the time), it's newly painted all white.  The water given it is deep well, smells rusty, but compared to what I have experienced before, but yeah there will be times when it is light brown, the water pressure is strong and clean so I had three showers in a day!  
They clean the room daily even without telling them, they provide toilet tissue one roll each day.  They have lockers I just have to provide my own padlock.  Good thing I have my own water bottle, I can fill it up anytime from the cafeteria.
I also like the options they give to their customers, for high end tourist they have the Eco Hotel or Suites.  For on budgets like me, they have budget rooms called Dormitels.   I like Dormitels because it is plain and simple 'MINIMALISM' 'JUST WHAT YOU NEED' kind of accommodation.   I am out all the time so I just need the basics.   
The service was also great, there are a lot of security men roaming the compound.  Outside there are a lot of new shops be it food, diving, tours and island shopping for souvenirs, clothes and accessories.   
Just be careful with tricycle drivers outside the compound - they can hack as high as 100 to 200 peso ride for a walking distance spots such as Marimegmeg Beach, Las Cabanas and even Bacuit Bay or downtown.   I plan to bring my own folding bike next time.   
I stayed in a female six bed dormitory room but I only had one room mate for the first two nights, after that the room became my private room for a dorm price.  I had a pleasant stay but I think during peak season it's going to be a crowded room.  So make sure you prepare to adjust and mingle particularly for foreigners who doesn't have the same built, sanitation, habits and language like ours.
Overall I want to thank Dormitels for taking care of me, to young girl named Irish the front desk officer from Baguio for being kind, same with the rest of the staff and security men who provided me beach towels, room towels and stand to dry my clothes.  I just left my yoga mat and towel outside hanged on a makeshift bamboo rack - it was still there safe and secure out of my nine night stay with Dormitels.  Thanks so much and see you all again soon!

Really liked the location and staff! Receptionist was super helpful, friendly and made us feel welcome. She even upgraded us free from van room to air conditioned room :) room is nothing special but it was clean and had a good WiFi. 

The area is nice with a lot of restaurants and shops. El Nidos best sunset beach is just few meters away!

We stayed in a private room with bathroom and it suited our needs well. The hostel is located perfectly. Its right next to a small alley with great pizza, falafel and smoothie bowls as well as plenty of tour offices, a small corner shop and some gift shops. Its on Corong Corong beach, where the majority of tours leave from. You can also rent sailing dingys along the beach and find plenty of restaurants and bars to watch the sunset from. The room is very small and basic and it does lack space to put things, things also felt slightly unclean. We paid very little for this room so didn't expect too much. As we hardly spent any time in it and had more to spend on activities and restaurants we were happy!

A very basic hotel, therefore very affordable. Aircon worked well so did the tv. Staff was friendly and helpful. Close to Corong beach for nice sunset views. Reccommended for anyone on a budget who can live with cold showers and without wifi.

Had a very nice stay at Dormitels, it is a budget hotel with basic amenities but not disappointing.  It is on the beach front and staff members are very friendly and willing to assist.

The hotel is very close to the airport. We arrived at night and managed to walk by foot from Terminal 1 to the hotel. Staff is friendly and helpful. In the morning they got us a taxi to go to terminal 4 (more far away).
