Pricy for its  quality service.  2 shower rooms only.  Will mot recommend and definitely will not come back.  Nakakalat pa tae ng dogs.   Untidy ung area.    
Two cheap plastic tables ate more expensensive than the shed.                         
        
      
           
              
                    

Horrible

The only positive about the whole place is that it is close to the beach. 
The staff are not customer focused to say the least. They would rather you not interfere with their face booking or whatever it is they do on their mobile phones. 
The staff restaurant told me to go elsewhere since they were not expecting guests. Despite making a booking two days ahead. Although tired from the long drive, we had to go out for our meal. 
The rooms are cramped and dirty. Ants and mosquitoes in abundance everywhere. The bathroom is slimy and the bathmats placed to stop you sliding had an awful stench. 
Worst of all there is no privacy with staff coming into the room with their keys while the guests are sleeping. 
Choose another place. 

Run down and in need of a total makeover. 

We just needed a place for the night near the event. The kids wanted a beachfront with swimming pool just in case and of course within the budget. No problem with check in or out. Beach was almost to ourselves. Food reasonably priced. WiFi decent. Will definitely go back.

No frills, just chill...

We came here with friends. I used to come here in Bauang when I was young and remembered back then that the beach was not not quite good and dirty. My expectation was wrong since when we came here it was really clean, it was a very windy day with big waves but the sea was not that deep so we could still handle to play in the water. Can’t really swim coz the waves does come in every second. Clean beach :) 

Clean beach 

Not so far, and not nearby to the hustle bustle of La Union(San Juan) - is this resort - it is a small but very clean resort - we could not sample the food nor step into the beach in front of the resort as we were there only for 1 days - but overall well-kept room, good customer service - they always said yes to what we asked for - the accommodation we stayed in was for 5 the beds were comfortable, clean CR with working showers, taps, etc
next time will also try their food :) but if you need a place during peak season in La Union, this would not be a bad choice. Happy Holidays!!

Quiet, Small, Clean Weekend Getaway

We were looking for a place to stay in La Union during the Holy Week, and because of the high demands of accommodations around this time, the high end hotels/resorts were already fully booked a month prior. We were grateful that Bu Boat still had available rooms for our family to stay in during this Lenten Season.

One advantage of their resort is they have a Family Room (good for 5 pax).  Since we went there as a family, it's nice to be sharing one unit for all of us.  The family room was spacious enough for all 4 adults + 2 kids. 

There's one shared bathroom, 1 TV (with cable), 1 personal refrigerator and an AC for each room - albeit small and a bit old, it worked very well.  There's one full size bed in 1 room. In the other room, there's 1 single bed, and 1 double deck bed (single size). The interior of the unit may need a little updating but the room served its purpose well, I have no complaints at all.

For the kids' entertainment, there is a playground right across our family room, so I'm pretty sure the kids won't get too bored while they're here. There is also a pool behind our family room, so if you get tired of spending some time in the beach, you can always have a dip in their pool.  They also have Videoke, so I guess for music-lovers, they have an opportunity to share their talent to the guests.

It's not a lavish resort so don't expect the facilities to be high-end, but it's good enough for families who need a place to stay for the night while they enjoy the wonderful waters of La Union. I, for one, found the beach and the waters fascinating with the waves gliding wonderfully to the shore. It's not often I see waves cascading in that manner, and I have been to a lot of beaches.

Another plus is the food they serve in their restaurant. I definitely enjoyed the meals served in Bu Boat.  The price is average, so I'd have to say it's definitely worth it.  There are a lot of menu options, you won't run out of ideas for your daily meals.

All in all, it's a good place to stay if you're happy with a nice beach, and simple surroundings. However, if you're looking for something fancy and extravagant, this is not the resort for you.  If you're adaptable, I'm sure you'll have a positive experience while staying in this resort.
