We booked via Quechuas Expeditions in Cusco and were amazed by the helpfulness of the guy in the Cusco office, he made everything so easy and organised everything perfectly! Everything was included in the price we were first given...even hotel to airport transfers, both in Cusco and Puerto Maldonado. We had booked to be in a large group, but ended up being just the 4 of us! Andreas, our guide was excellent, the accomodation was beautiful and the food was amazing!!! There was nothing I could fault, it truely exceeded all our expectations. The only thing I wanted was to stay an extra day...3D/2N leaves you wanting more, so if you have time, make it at least 4D/3N :)

Exceeded expectations

WE went on a 4day, 3night trip to the amazon garden lodge organed by Wayra of Quechuas expeditions. WEll organised from start to finish. Amazing food, canopy walk and optional zipline (at another company, but you can ask for this to be included), caiman spotting, interesting day and night walks through the rainforest, kayaking, fishing (though we didn't catch anything) etc. Highly recommend Andres and this company! NB - the pool was out of order (and it doesn't look like its ever been 'in order'), but nice place with hammocks to relax. Very clean and comfortable throughout

In the jungle, the mighty jungle

The rooms were each individual wooden buildings set in a rainforest clearing - great for privacy, and very well cleaned and maintained. 

Food was exceptional and all locally sourced, fresh fruit juice always on hand. 

Lots of guided activities included in our stay, with a fabulous guide (Andreas) who spoke excellent English and was very knowledgeable. The highlights for me were the day trip to Sandoval lake, and the night time jungle walk. 

Every moment of this trip was enjoyable, I only wish I had stayed longer!

Beautiful 

My friend and me started our tour from Cusco organized by Quechua Expeditions. After a 9 hours overnight bus ride to Puerto Maldonado we got picked up by our guide Andres. 
We reached our Lodge with a boat driving downstream the river "Madre de Dios". 
The lodge was very comfortable including hot water showers and electricity for a couple of hours. Regarding the food we had expected less in the middle of the rainforest. We had always several delicious courses and fresh fruit juice every day. 
Our guide Andres has a profound knowledge of the rainforest and all its flora and fauna. Besides, he is fluent in English and was always motivated and kind. 
To sum up, we would like to say the we enjoyed our 4D/3N tour in the rainforest a lot and would highly recommend it to everyone.

This place is a paradise full of biodiversity, we contact this lodge thanks to the globlal review they had in trip advisor we took the tour with them

Food was excellent
Room Were Clean with showers and  clean toilets
Hamacs were the best part to chill out in the Jungle I even bought  a typical one

* the swimming pool is surruonding by vegetation and nature and sometimesyou can spot Monkeys from it

* Our Guide Washinton is a native guide who grew up at the rain forest , the lake sandoval keeps hundreds of flora and Fauna and the trails are  full of creeping things

After our salkantay Trek this is  the best tour we experience in the Peruvian Jungle these are the jungle people you want to meet
