After traveling all around Peru and staying in many hotels in different places I can honestly say this was the best hotel I stayed in! The rooms are nothing fancy, beds are pretty comfy. Bathroom has the necessities. There is no AC in the room, but since the weather gets cooler at night you really don't need it. There is a TV in the room with basic channels. The amazing part of this place is the people that work there. They were super accommodating and went out of their way multiple times to make sure we had what we needed and knew where to go. It felt more like staying with family members than staying at a hotel. You get a home cooked breakfast in the morning included with the rate. The hotel is right by the main plaza. When we were leaving the husband, wife, and their 2 year old son stood outside waving bye to us, it was the cutest thing ever! I highly recommend staying here they will take really good care of you!

Highly Recommend

We had a very warm welcome from Blas even though it was a bit late. The location is central just off the Plaza de Armas. It is very quiet though. The hotel is welcoming nice and clean. The room is clean, has its own bathroom and hot water. The wifi works fine. And great to have a real duvet on the bed. 
Nice breakfast too. 
We were here just for one night but decided to take a rest after our visit to Machu Picchu.

This is a B&B located in a residential part of town. The facilities and amenites are clean, comfortable and on par with a 2.5 star hotel. The lady managing the front desk was very courteous and helpful. The breakfast was very basic with bread and eggs - nothing fancy.

Value for money

I arrived at the hotel and the front door was locked. After knocking and waiting for a few minutes, a man finally answered the door. He appeared very disoriented and was mumbling at us in Spanish. When we walked inside, the lobby area was a complete disaster with trash on the floor and there was even a knife on the floor. I tried explaining to him that we had a reservation (via Expedia), but he insisted that we couldn't check in yet. There was a sign on the wall that said check in was at 10:30am. It was well past 11am. My family and I decided to just leave because we did not feel safe staying there.
