Ursula and Juan Miguel are incredible hosts! One truly feels as if you’re staying with your own familia. The lodge is a beautiful place to spend time in the Amazon. They’ve created a very nice environment and community. Also, the food and tours are top notch!

Beautiful ecolodge in the Amazon

Stayed for a week. Very comfortable room, amazing peruvian food , very friendly hosts and housekeeping folks. They had a planned itirenary for a week varying from visiting local tribes to boat rides for fishing , canoeing ,seeing dolphins, and hikes in the jungle. Great way to be away from the city, especially after an ayahuasca retreat, to wind down , relax and explore. Awesome pool is an icing on the cake :) Overall must visit place if you are planning to visit iquitos either solo or with family.

Our guide Reiter was professional, attentive and courteous. The owner, Juan Miguel
 was an excellent host throughout our stay. Amazon Garden is one of the few places which gives back to the local communities.

 We enjoyed a variety of activities and also had time to relax by the pool, ate fantastic locally sourced cuisine and were surprised by the diverse wildlife found within the grounds of the lodge. 
Our daughter was surprised by Monchi the friendly monkey who would occasionally climb on her shoulder looking to be petted. 

In all, we thoroughly recommend Amazon lodge to anyone wishing to have a once in a lifetime Amazon experience.

Once in a lifetime experience!

Very exceptional and big complex in the middle of the jungle, good food, nice vibes, beautiful place where you can start the trips..canopying, canoying, visting different tribes,  walk through the forest, looking for caimans, birdspotting... Ricardo, the guide of the lodge,  is a walking library with al his knowledge about the rainforest! Ursula and Miguel thanks for giving us this unforgettable experience!! We loved it!! 

A once in a lifetime experience!! A must do!! We loved it!!

This place is the paradise. We spent 3 days and those were amazing days, Juan and Ursula will make you feel like home, the staff is extremely kind and friendly and the guide is so wise. 

Since we were picked up in the airport the experience was perfect, we visit indigenous communities, wild animal rescue centers, travel through the Amazon, Momon and bunch of rivers seeing all this amazing landscapes and all the biodiversity around. 

The Hotel is so beautiful full of birds and animals, the sounds are just perfect, you will have the best sleep ever. I felt so well rested after these days and recharged my batteries. You’ll feel brand new. 

I want to thank you Ursula and Juan for their labor in the community, helping out the people around and the nature. I want you to know that they’re helping to reforest and protecting endanger species teaching the community no to eat them and providing them food alternatives in order to preserve all the ecosystems.

Thank you to Pablo, the chef and his team who cooked us the most amazing food, every single dish was made with organic food and tasted extremely good. Without hesitate, was the best food I eat while in Peru. Everything was so fresh and has excellent flavor. 

Thank you to Ricardo, our guide for explaining us everything and responding every answer I had. This guy is a encyclopedia full of knowledge that will make every tour something remarkable. We were able to see many different animals and birds and that made us so happy. 

My only regret was not spending more days in this Amazon paradise but will be back for sure and will bring friends and family. So far, the best hotel experience I’ve ever had.

Beautiful stay in the jungle. Amazing curated activities with great guide Ricardo introduce you to so much of the natural world (really saw such a wide variety of species!) and to the people of the jungle! Juan Miguel and Ursula have created an amazing atmosphere that is so rejuvenating and restorative. 10/0 would recommend!

Amazing, restorative Amazon Experience

This lodge is highly recommended. Since this is not my first jungle rodeo, I can say for certain that this place beats all expectations. The owners went above and beyond to make our large group welcome and supported. Even in a difficult remote setting, the accommodations were well done. 
If you require 24/7 electricity, then you should stay out of the jungle, just saying. The cabanas were spacious, comfortable, beautiful and clean (thanks to Irma and staff). The food was authentic to the selva, safe to eat and delicious, thanks to the well trained chef. The guide Ricardo was very experienced and ultra knowledgeable about all things selva and so much more, like playing guitar and singing Peruvian songs. The pool and landscaping was immaculate and gorgeous. The bar was perfect and graciously accommodating. The lodge pets, including birds and many other critters were so much fun. We had very experienced Peruvians in our group who were impressed by the hospitality offered. 
Owners Juan Miguel, Ursula and Augustina are now part of our extended group family. They not only catered to us at the lodge but also joined in the humanitarian efforts of our medical project to help the people of the Momon River at great time, effort and expense to themselves. They truly went many extra miles to support our work for the people who are their neighbors on the river there.  We are very lucky to have had them in our midst. Just cannot say enough good things, so go there and become part the beautiful Amazon Garden Ecolodge family on the Rio Momon yourselves.

Stay here, this place rocks!

We had an incredible stay at the Ecolodge! The location is absolutely gorgeous, and the excursions were very fun and educational. We feel like we got a true taste of the Peruvian jungle! Ursula and Juan Miguel were wonderful hosts, they were very attentive and it is so clear that they truly care about all of their guests. They made sure to have vegetarian meal options available for us, and they made sure our stay was comfortable. It was extra special to get to meet fellow guests, it was definitely a family experience. Highlights included a pink dolphin spotting, the lodge's adorable pet toucans, and time spent in the refreshing pool. Huge thank you to everyone at the Ecolodge, can't wait to visit again!

Incredible Stay!

This place is magical, I stayed for a weekend and did not expect to be this comfortable while touring the amazon.

-Ursula, Juan Miguel, and their family are the sweetest most welcoming people. They have truly carved out their own slice of paradise in the Amazon
-the guide, Ricardo, is super knowledgable and helpful throughout the whole weekend
-the tours are a great combination of diverse, exciting, and intimidating haha
-the food is so good! some of the best meals i've had in Peru, so fresh
-there's a great pool with a slackline and swim up bar where they'll serve you some delicious local snacks and refreshing cocktails
-they do so much to support the local communities and wildlife! true eco-tourism
-the cabanas are comfy and as equipped as they can be in the middle of the jungle.
