Barrio Inka B&B

We stayed there for 5 nights in two different rooms and it was brilliant! First the location of the hostel is 10 minutes away from placa del arma, we have no idea how you can need 20 minutes like others said. At nights there are some drunk people at the street (mostly because of the lots of peruvian restaurants nearby) but it never felt unsafe and there are lots of other hostels, too. The rooms are small to normal sized, but you get real furniture like wardrobe, chairs, bedlamps and even tables. They are very clean (we saw them wet-cleaning nearly every day) and the beds where really comfortable and warm with duvet blankets. There are no windows, but the lights are quite bright. The common area is with roof and walls but still kind of outdoors so if can get cold. Inside this area you have a small kitchen with everything you need plus free tea the hole day. The bathroom is small, too but very clean and the shower is WITHOUT the electric showerhead but with real hot and cold water. If you want you could boil egs in the shower! Sergio speaks real good english, is very friendly and helpful! The breakfast consists of bread, butter, jam, fruits, juice, honey oats yoghurt and egs. You can eat as much as you want! We did a tour to rainbow mountain at 4am, so after asking we got bread and bananas for breakfast the evening before. All in all you get so much for such less money its almost unbelievable. We can totally recommend this place and will definitely stay there again when we are in Cuzco!
