Edouardo and Fanny, both from Lima, run this hostal with heart and soul. The lodge is a nice intermezzo, far away from the cities. From here we visited Maras and Moray. Food is really good. The rooms have the necessary comfort (bathroom is not in the rooms). Every day we got new sheets. Clean rooms. Very enthusiastic owners.  Edouardo goes uphill and downhill with his 1982 VW Beegle. We loved it. Really nice people. To be recommended for some 'tranquilo' moments during a hectic journey. Think about the splendid view over the mountains.

Great intermezzo in the real Peru - lovely owners

This place was perfect. Very private and family feeling. Great location, away from the tourists, nestled on the mountainside. Loved hiking from the road up to the house (about 10-15 minutes) on daily basis... added up to lovely gentle cardio exercise. The hosts (Eduardo & Alicia) were beyond nice. Wonderful hosts! Loved the views, kitchen and wood burning stove. A great deal and a little gem :)

Perfect for families, couples and small intimate groups - away from the crowds

This is an absolute must-do! It is a basic lodge with an amazing expierence! A beautiful view at the valley! The hosts are super friendly and make delicious homemade food! Typical simple life and enjoy nature and pure hospitality! Watching stars at campfire is a must! You can also arrange a trekking in the magical Lares region! For trekking ask after Marcello !
