I have had this hotel on my travel "wish list" for longer than I care to admit. We stayed there for two nights in April of this year.  It did not disappoint.  Lovely appointed rooms but even more so, atmosphere of the whole place is tropical, peaceful, and magical--all came together and implemented perfectly by beautifully trained staff. Food was delicious as well. We did a 90 minute guided natue walk on the property.  Do one of their guided tours if you can.  This place is definitely worth the money.

Not "just" a hotel - a magical Peruvian experience

We stayed at this hostel for 2 nights on the 10th and 11th of July 2015, as an Outlook Expeditions group of 16 people (13 students and 3 teachers).  The hostel was in a central location only 5-10 mins walk from the train station guided by the owner of the hostel who came to pick us up from the station.  Also perfect walking distance to the start of the Machu Picchu trail should you choose to walk.   The rooms were very nice and clean and finished to a high standard, the en-suite bathrooms were also nice and clean (toilet roll and soap were both provided), 24hr hot showers were also very much appreciated.   The staff were also very helpful and friendly.  The hostel also provided WIFI and breakfast (we asked for breakfast not to be included in our stay for a slightly reduced rate which fitted in with our budget better).

Rooms finished to a high standard!

Wasn't expecting much considering it was booked for a team of 24 on an Outlook expedition but it was pretty good. The beds are good for a hostel (some hostels I've stayed at had very bad beds) and the showers are warm. The hostel is clean and conveniently positioned near a large market. And the service is very good as we were provided with a packed breakfast as requested for our 4am Machu Pichu hike. Only issue is that the wifi is very bad with many people on it at once 

Not too shabby 

The location is great, right on the main drag of Aguas Calientes and about a 7 minute walk from the train station (there are no taxis in Aguas Calientes, so you want to be close!). The receptionist was exceptionally kind and helpful and explained the whole Machu Picchu process to us and arranged to have breakfast ready for us for our 4:00am departure the day of our summit. 
The room was clean and we had hot water and the staff even gave us a space heater to use after we asked for it. The internet worked well and everything that was guaranteed was available. 
It is noisy at night in general in Aguas Calientes, so be prepared for that (earplugs worked just fine for me). I would stay here again!

Comfortable, convenient, kind staff

super well located, u r right there. Super clean and super friendly staff. Their dog is an attraction. the only downside is their exchange rate is too high and they charge 6% on ur bill if u pay by credit card and this is not advertised.
