Above the Lake B&B

We had the downstairs 2 bed apartment with lounge. Exceptionally clean. Had a garden patio. Well equipped with usual free tea and coffee making facilities, great! even down to the toiletries in the bathroom cabinet and the dressing gowns in the master bedroom (both are good rooms). Great tips from the hosts on where to go, eating and what to see. Friendly and warm couple who provided a great breakfast each morning (continental but varied and you won't go hungry). Parking is available and Its a stroll into town either via lake front down the road or through a couple of residential roads (it's a very nice area!) If you want to get there quickly. Thank you for everything Maggie and Ivan, it was a great final few days for us in our NZ trip. Loved Taupo and the surrounding area.
