Annalea Bed & Breakfast

We stayed a Annalea's in February because our campervan broke down.  Her place is very close to the mechanic where we dropped off our campervan for service.

We were extremely stressed out because of our campervan. Even so, we had a great time at Annalea's because she is so kind, compassionate and welcoming.  We had wonderful conversations.

Her place is beautiful and sparkling clean.  She let us use the washer and hang our clothes on the clothesline outside.  Her husband drove us the the car rental as our campervan was not ready.

Staying at her B&B was the silver lining of our campervan breakdown experience.  Thank you Annalea for being so kind!

This is a beautiful house and we had a great welcome from Leanne. The breakfast was great.Lovely continental buit cooked as well. Every comfort ,would thoroughly recommend. Very close to the airport and the city.

I’m so glad we stayed here.  We booked the room with a private bathroom and it even had sliding doors to her patio.  She was a lovely host and very informative with Christchurch visitor information.  Her house is gorgeous and clean. Breakfast was good.  Parking is easy and it’s a good location in town.   I cannot day enough positive things about our stay.  If we come back to Christchurch we are definitely staying here again.   Loved it!

We stayed in the ensuite room, very comfortable and spacious. Lea collected us from the airport and dropped us off. A well appointed home, very quiet and relaxing. Good breakfast options and great local tips and knowledge. We were able to walk to the Wigram Airforce Museum where we were exhibiting at an expo. Perfect! I will definitely stay again!

If you are coming to Christchurch I highly recommend Annalea’s.   Book early! This is small very well appointed place that Annalea keeps immaculate.   There are three rooms all quite beautiful.  One is an ensuite and the other two room shares full bath and 1/2 bath.   The room I had came with a small patio great for evening drinks and morning coffee.   Common areas include dinning room, living room with large screen tv, kitchen with shared frig, and off street parking. The Bathroom has standup shower and claw bath tub.  You can have expresso coffee every morning because she has this really fancy coffee machine. It also does the milk. The location is convenient to the airport and she will pick you up and drop you off.  It is located near the bus line and it is an easy trip to the city center.  She also provides cheese and crackers and chocolates in the room.  Which is a really nice. My stay was quite lovely. 

Absolutely lovely stay at annalea b&b another home away from home could not be more pleased with the stay verry comftable beds , verry clean and well maintained house .a lot of outdoor space and seats for that lovely relaxing day spent in the sun :) has sky TV in main lounge to watch all ur sports and movies WiFi is fast and effective couldn't have asked for a more friendlier person than Lee for a host !I stayed here for a bit over a week now and would b happier to stay another ! I will b deffenatly be rebooking into annalea b&b if ever I'm want a trip back to Christchurch ! 


I've been meaning to write this review for some time.  We stayed at Annalea in February this year after an unfortunate experience with Air BnB left us without accommodation. But every cloud has a silver lining and because of this we got to meet Lea and her husband, Jim. Lea is the nicest, kindest person you could hope to meet and went out of her way to give us information about the local area and also the rest of the South Island. The B and B is modern and spotlessly clean. Breakfast is varied and plentiful and there is always a good cup of coffee available! But the very best thing about this establishment is Lea and we spent the rest of our holiday telling everyone how kind she was to us. If we ever get to come back to Christchurch we would definitely stay here again as long as she isn't  fully booked that is!
PS Jim is very nice too!
