Being new to Wellington, Terrace Villas has been an excellent choice for my short stay. The apartment had a peaceful ambience and was comfortable, secure and warm with good natural light and access to a balcony. 

The location of Terrace Villas made it easy to live and work.  The team have been great, very efficient and always helpful.

Excellent stay - I would highly recommend

I stayed here for 4 weeks after moving to Wellington. The apartment had everything I needed to settle in to a new city. It was well located with a beautiful view and quick walk to the city centre.

The kitchen had all appliances needed (oven, microwave, hob, dishwasher, kettle), and there was an iron/ironing board and hair dryer provided also. The staff were helpful, friendly and responsive. 

It was a comfortable stay and I would recommend!

Great apartment with everything I needed

We stayed here for 5 weeks when we were in between house moves and it was such an easy solution for us! Convenient, comfortable, it had everything we needed and the staff were all super friendly and welcoming. It was a refreshing change from most short term rentals, with a properly equipped kitchen, lots of space, excellent storage and cosy beds. We had our 4 year old with us and she’s still disappointed that we had to leave. Highly recommend!

Perfect short term stay solution

A completely furnished, one bedroom apartment at rates competitive with nearby hotels.  The kitchen came complete with all appliances and cookware.  Complete laundry facilities in the apartment.  Fast and reliable Wifi.  Perfect for a three month stay.  

The building offered privacy with one of the best views of Wellington and the harbor.  A 10 minute walk to restaurants and a 15 minute walk to the harbor.  The staff was friendly, professional, and always seemed available if needed.  Parking is tight in the neighborhood, however safe, off street parking was available at a small rate.   For my next trip to Wellington, this will be my first choice.

A perfect place for long-term stays in Wellington.

We spent a month at Terrace Villas to be with our daughters living there. It has been an absolute pleasure to live in the apartment offered to us. Both the Manager Gavin and his right-hand man Duane went the extra mile to offer us the most suitable unit, taking into account my wife's difficulty to walk. From offering extra chairs, to meeting other special little needs, they did their best to make us feel at home throughout our stay. This has been our 4th time choosing Terrace Villas for a long stay and I must say it will not be the last. Thanks again to Gavin, Duane and even the friendly cleaners for the awesome service!

An awesome "feel at home" experience

Great stay at these beautiful old wooden villas close to the central city.  We have everything we needed for a comfortable time.

It is in the same area as a lot of student halls so if the sound of kids running about is distracting you might want to avoid orientation week.

Thank you The Terrace Villas! We used Terrace Villas accommodation as part of our relocation process. We stayed with them for a full month. The apartment is very spacious, warm and comfortable. The beds are amazing and so the full bathroom. It felt like a home away from home as the kitchen if fully equipped and the laundry facilities including washer and dryer are conveniently located in the bathroom. Rooms are professionally serviced weekly. Access to the city is as easy as walking down the road, with multiple pathways down to the waterfront and city center. Food and entertainment everywhere you look. We would highly recommend The Terrace Villas for any length of stay. Thank you to Gavin and the team.

A home away from home...

After living at the terrace apartments for an entire year, I am incredibly sad to be leaving my lovely apartment!  
I might be biased but 2010 is the best one bedroom apartment! At the rear of the property, I’ve been fortunate to have a bright and sunny space with a beautiful green vista to look out onto! The apartments come fully equipped and are very clean, tidy and well maintained! 
The villas are in such a convenient location that for 11 out of the 12 months I stayed here, I did not need a car! With no more than a 5 mins walk you’re on Lambton Quay, and only 15 or so mins to Cuba Street or the Train Station!

Gavin, Duane and the entire team have really made the stay something special! They are kind, welcoming and accomodating to all the needs you might have!  I will 100% be staying here again on my trips back to Wellington in the future! 


A year long stay and absolutely LOVED IT!

I stayed in Terrace Villa Apartments for 5months and loved it. Gavin, Duane and the cleaning staff there were amazing the whole time. I loved the rustic styled villa apartment; it really was a homely feeling and made my time in Wellington so much more enjoyable. The staff were really accommodating, and nothing was a problem for them, the cleaning service was also top notch (better than I have seen in 5* accommodation). I would highly recommend to anyone wanting a stay in wellington that really does feel like a home away from home.
