42 reviewsWe stopped at this hotel having found it on hotels.com whilst travelling back to the UK from Czech Republic. And we were very impressed with the reception and professionalism. The properitor was very polite and spoke excellent english amongst several other languages. He had recently purchased the hotel and in the short time of ownership had created a warm welcoming environment. Our room although in the basement part of the building was spacious, well presented and modern. We also had doors to the court yard/garden. Things that stood out for us within our room was the large bath, very soft towels, blackout curtains, hairdryer, tea and coffee making facilities. We were initially concerned about off site parking although we were able to park directly outside the hotel, limited parking from 18.00-09.00 we could have parked in a public car park less than 15 yards from the hotel. Epen itself is a very pretty quiet town affording a number of excellent restaurants and architectural attractions. We will definitely be using this little gem again some time soon..
