Hello Inn Guest House

Stayed here for nearly a month in this family run guest house, centrally located in Lakeside.
Excellent wifi compared to other places I stayed in Pokhara.
Spacious room with balcony overlooking Phewa lake for $10 per night.

Second time I've stayed here. Two or more months at a time. Well located with lake view, walks and restaurants and lake nearby.  North Lakeside, less touristy - room is large with big windows, comfy bed and clean cotton bedding. Wi-fi in room and hot water. Friendly staff - what more could you want!

Hello Inn is a new guesthouse in north Pokhara, just off the main road. The room I had was $10 (sgl) and was spacious, with large windows and comfortable beds, balconies and good views of the lake and hills, lots of outlets for computer and charging, and new bathroom fixtures. But the room lacked a clothes hanger and a chair (I brought one in from the balcony).  Being so new, it  doesn't yet have a 'lived in' feel, like many guesthouses; eg, no travel/trekking services and information available, no refillable drinking water, etc.

Central location for a good price

Bright, Clean and Welcoming

New, excellent rooms, good views.

it is a 3 star hotel, as it is clean, well kept.
there is no breakfast
but there is an amazing view from 5th floor terrace
ask for a room on that floor
The hotel staff is nice, but we did yoga in the morning and they would be a bit pushy to sweep the floor and had trouble waiting until we finished our session

In fairness to this hotel it is in close proximity to a number of yoga and medition centres and as such would probably be ideal for those type of tourists whom have a specific purpose for being there. We booked the apartment and upon entry found no towels, no toilet paper and a refrigerator with mould inside it. As we were the 'just having a look' type tourist whom wished a certain measure of comfort ie air con. we left and found somewhere else to stay and promptly checked out. As a group of 3 middle aged women my travelling companions were spooked by the fact the old man didn't seem to have a strong command oi English however when they noted the lack of towels and toilet paper he miraculously appeared with them and during a private discussion re free wifi he again materialised with the password...needless to say they became unsettled cos he'd spooked them out. Not necessarily bad ....but not our cup of tea.
