The apartment was clean, comfortable, convenient, spacious and well-equipped. Management went out of their way to make it easy for us to self-isolate, providing extra linen so we could change towels etc without anyone else entering the apartment.

The bed was comfortable. There was a view over the bay from our upstairs apartment, and this facility is within comfortable walking distance of town and several attractions. I would definitely stay here again.

Stayed here for work during the Covid-19 period, after lockdown was eased a bit.

Zum Anker is a clean, spacious and calming place. Located at walking distance from the Goerke Haus, Felsenkirche and the Lüderitz museum and an excellent option where to stay to visit Kulmanskuppe, Aus horses, Shark Island, Agate Beach and the Lüderitz Peninsula. The whole place made us feel at ease. Staff are very nice, easy to talk to and very friendly when they welcomed us. I would definitely come again! Highly recommended!

Fantastic!

I stayed in apartment no 2, it is extremely spacious, very neat, with everything (and more) you need, immaculately clean and within walking distance to coffee shops and restaurants. Highly recommended!

Comfortable, spacious apartment

When arriving staff was very friendly. The apartment was spotlessly clean and well equipped - even a washing machine to do my laundry. Good location with easy access and safe, off the street parking. Nice views from my apartment (2nd storey)

Excellent!

Zum Anker is located in the historical part of Lüderitz; an easy walk to the old church and museums. The apartment we stayed in was clean and has a great view. I can recommend staying in these apartments as they are fully equipped and a good spot to hide from the wind in the afternoons in Lüderitz.

My wife and I had stayed at Zum Anker before with another friend and had found it very comfortable and well-equipped, so on this occasion, in a party of 6, we opted to stay here again and were not disappointed. Plenty of space, everything one could ask for. Although not on the seafront, Zum Anker is within easy walking distance if the self-catering gets a bit much, and also much quitter as a result. i.e. reduced wind and sea noise. 

One of the top self-catering places to stay in Luderitz

We booked the house-part of Zum Anker,it was great! Large separate rooms, two of which had their own on suite bathrooms and cosy lounge, kitchen and braai area. Highly recommend. It's naturally cool during the day as it can get sweltering hot outside.

Amazing stay

We have stayed in Apartment 4. It is huge with all the comforts needed. Well kept and maintained. Very friendly staff. Zum Anker Apartments is the perfect place to stay for the finicky traveller. Big screen TV, washing machine and well furnished. 

Perfect stay in Luderitz

Very swift check-in. We had the apartment at the ground floor. Well maintained, clean and convenient.
Our apartment had 4 rooms, a lounge room and a kitchen with a washing machine which was ideal.
Outside there is a BBQ place.
Parking on the inside of the apartment ground.

Very convenient

We stayed at Zum Anker many times before and will do so again. Great for groups, with adjustable accommodation. Lovely accommodation. Spacious and clean. WiFi speed, however, is snail-paced and quite frustrating and really could do with an upgrade.
