Best Guest House in Gobabis

I decided to stop over in Gobabis after 2am,and i got the best reception,very affordable,peaceful,clean environment for a night stay...Terrific breakfast,clean showers and bedding.A great place to rest enroute to Windhoek from Mamuno border

Great Reception 

After quite a looong and exhaustive trip from Botswana to Namibia, I found this little quaint spot in Gobabis, 110 km from the border. An awesome place when you are too tired to drive on. The rooms are clean, with very good pricing within town. Breakfast is optional and a minimal added cost. Conrad and his staff are amazing, redefining the art of hospitality. Easy to find. Just follow the street signs or, Google it.


Pit stop haven

Our room was renovated and looked way better than on the Internet photos. What a surprise. Hot shower with enough hot water for all of us and with good water pressure. The room was a bit small but it had a TV and coffee station. We could not get a WiFi signal. Breakfast was very basic but cheap.

Stopover 

On our visit to NAM recently, we had a booking at Onze Rust Guest house for one night
Very basic, and the rooms was clean and decent
It was however in a residential build up area, and there was a lot of disturbances with the dogs barking, and next door neighbours.

Very Basic for sleepover

The room was dirty and there were ants everywhere, even in the shower cabin and in the bed. Bed was pretty comfortable, shower was hot. Wifi was free but did not reach the room. There was a small kitchenette with refrigerator and kettle (including ants).
Hotel does NOT accept creditcards, despite the hotel booking assuring that they do. Near supermarkets, petrol station and restaurants. Very pricy for what you get, we would have preferred to stay somewhere else if we would have known in advance. Breakfast was good though, and free of charge.
