It is the best place to spend the summer, and we are really relaxed because they have a very nice mountain view and cozy log house.

Nice View and good place to relax

Great place to start your holiday in Kalaw. A little outside of the the city.  Clean air, nice temperature, comfortable rooms.  Stayed here on a bike tour and was very accessable by bike to the city, local restaurants and the all the places you might want to visit.  Friendly staff, great breakfast, highly recommend.

Nice Hotel at top of the hill.

We went here for drinks at sunset as it has a great view. Set off early as it is about 20 mins uphill walk from the railway station. We ended up staying for a meal, which was unexpectedly tasty and quite cheap too. Staff extremely friendly. The fish red Thai curry was very acceptable.

Great place for a sunset beer

I went Kalaw with the package tour. I like the location of the hotel. It seems very lovely due to very bautiful flowers and the hill scene. I don't like the foods for breakfast.(I ate only breakfat at there). Foods aren't delicious and not Shan traditional food. I wanted to try the local food when I visit at there. Wifi is also very bad. This hotel is more beautiful than the photos which the app provided.

Not good breakfast

Beautiful scenery from top of the hill. Nice rooms. Colorful flowers everywhere. One drawback is sieved windows do not seem to protect us from mosquitos. I can say I enjoyed my stay there thoroughly. Kalaw itself is a very cozy and cool town with peace and tranquility.

The vie is fantastic, room are huge, beds are great and wifi ok.

It's a bit from town, so it's a shame, the restaurant does not have more to offer. It takes 25 minutes to walk to the market area, so definitely possible.

Breakfast is good with eggs to order with local and international dishes.

Note that the restaurant does not serve lunch.


Wonderful

Being at highest part of Kalaw, the hotel give panoramic views of shan mountains covered with pine trees and colourful flowers and soil. Land scaping was carefully designed to blend with nature and at the same time neat and grand. Meeting hall is speacious accomodating about 80 peoples. Traditional dishes at lunch, especially shan noodle and fish in difficulty are remarkable.

We stayed here for 2 nights. The hotel is located on a hill so a bit out of the centre of Kalaw.

Room is like a chalet with a great bed, clean, safe and a nice hot shower.

Wifi is very slow but working.

Dinner was food with plenty of choice and nice service.

Breakfast was ok but can be improved.

Overall a very nice place with stunning sunsets. Bring your denim and sweater and make sure you have some transport arranged. TV is with Asian channels so bring a good book or go to bed early.

Would definitely recommend. Very friendly staff!
