Maison Hassan was a beautiful place to stay. Our room was very comfortable and nicely decorated, and the courtyard and roof top areas were amazing, with great views of the dunes. 

When we arrived the host met us in town and took our bags, then prepared us a delicious dinner. They asked what time we wanted breakfast, and we had a lovely breakfast before starting the day. 

I would highly recommend visiting!

Wonderful hospitality, great food and beautiful rooms!

We’re back at this wonderful oasis at the edge of the Sahara desert. Such a fabulous family .. so hospitable and friendly… the staff and the best food in Morocco really made our experience unique . Beautiful rooms … spacious with great facilities built around a private courtyard with tiled and ceramic fountain in the center. The food cooked by the women of this family under the experience and guidance of Rakia is of exceptional quality ( and quantity) there is such ambiance…a beautiful rooftop terrace to  feel close to the clear night stars and to photograph amazing sun rises and sunsets . Nothing is too much trouble … gorgeous drinks and live music was organized for our group and all arrangements for sightseeing, carpet buying , shopping , desert excursions and camel trekking etc were handled by the management making Maison Hassan your one stop shop . It’s ten out of ten again from my group of foodie travelers and we have reconfirmed our reservations for next year too .

We were so taken care of. The room was delightful and the bathroom was a work of art. Having dinner there on the first floor under the clear night sky with the family was a highlight of the trip. Breakfast was the best. We got stuck in the dunes with the SUV we had and called Brahim, the awesome host of Maison Hassan. He sent help to get our vehicle out of the sand. :) I would love to go back and visit again, and would highly recommend a stay here. 

Next time, I'd like to go see the stars at night in the dunes. :)

A traditional Riad managed by the owner and his family. Very comfortable with high quality rooms. The food and the desert services are within the best I experienced in the Erg Chebbi region. They speak several languages and this helps during the stay.

The Merzuga desert in front of you!

One of the highlights of our trip was staying at Maison Hassan. The location was amazing with our terrace having great views of the dunes at the edge of the Sahara. The room was very comfortable with plenty of hot water. Owner  Ibrahim was warm, generous and gregarious and we enjoyed chatting with him. Breakfast was included in the price and was fab, as was the three course dinner, which we paid extra for but was still amazing value and plentiful. Loved everything about Maison Hassan.

Amazing hospitality, amazing value, amazing location

They take care of us just like family members 🥰 They cook for us, we try berbers pizza and tajin and invite us to meet the whole family, so we practically eat under their roof. The rooms were clean, the food was great and the view from the terrace was amazing. Ibrahim arrange us to visit dunes and local villages, nomads and camel rides. We enjoy our staying with this beautifull family ❤

We arrived after a long drive from Fes. Ibrahim was there to greet us with a smile and home cooked food. They organized our desert safari and when the plans were derailed by a sand storm, offered us a chance to eat lunch in the desert. We stayed 3 nights in this family friendly place and our daughter quickly made friends with Ibrahim's daughter. We had some of the best Moroccan home cooked meals at Casa Hassan and felt like we were a part of their family. Rooms were clean and service was excellent.

Amazing hospitality, true Amazigh experience, close to Erb Chebbi

This is an excellent location to enjoy the Merzouga’s desert! The owners are part of a local family and they greet their guests in a marvellous manner! You can feel integrated in the local culture and if you wish (we did) you can spend time with them and you can organise your day with their advice! The rooms are just perfect!

Great hospitality!

We stayed at Casa Hassan for two days and it was the best part of our trip to Morocco! The house provides an authentic Berber atmosphere, has private parking, rooms are nice and clean, and wi-fi works properly. The owners organize customised excursions to the desert (by camel or 4x4) or to other points of interest in the region at reasonable prices. The food is simply delicious; we had undoubtedly the best tajine and harira soup of our trip. Kudos to their cook!
However, our greatest words of appreciation go to the owner, Brahim. He has welcomed us as part of his family. We had very good conversations about the differences of our cultures and he has even invited us to his house and his sister's wedding! He is a very kind man and an excellent host that transformed our visit to the Moroccan desert in an experience we will never forget! Thank you for everything!

Beautiful place to stay directly next to the dunes. Beautiful rooms and baths. Best tajine and breakfest in our marocco travels. Very nice people here. Thanks for the lovely hospitality ans the small gift:) !
