We came over to the island after a few days in an underwhelming resort in Cancun so this place was exactly what we needed.  The pool was area was not over crowded and plenty of room to relax and lounge around. There's also a bar at the pool, which you can charge to your room. The rooms themselves are very quiet and have working air conditioning.  Best of all, it's more of a family-oriented place so there aren't any loud party goers out late at night.  
The service the staff provided was exceptional and they went out of their way to ensure everyone's experience was one to remember.  Ernesto, the concierge, provided great recommendations on what to do and booked all of our activities on location. He told us the time to be there each morning and we showed up with taxis waiting.  The bartenders were also very friendly and one of them (Carlos) showed my  brother-in-law and I the downtown area one evening. 
As far as amenities, there is a grocery store that is a 5 minute walk to grab drinks, food, and any toiletries you may need.  There are a couple of restaurants close by, one being the Green Verde that serves amazing food.  Isla Mujeres itself is a small island so everything there is a 50-150 pesos ($3-10) taxi ride. There are places you can rent golf carts or scooters but the cheapest we found was about $30/day so it all depends on how much you want to travel around the island. 
I would definitely come back and stay if given the opportunity. If you're looking for a place to relax, enjoy the beaches, without all the hustle and bustle, The World Mark is your place.

Great relaxing stay with plenty to do close by

Arrived 0600 the other day to helpful concierge. Since then, this property has been a nice jumping off place to explore the island. Close to affordable restaurants, a great snorkeling shop at Casa de Buseo (great tours!) & walking distance to the Chedrui market. Pool on upstairs deck, spacious 1br & 2ba. Good food reasonably priced for a poolside restaurant & guests get 10% off. A small & peaceful resort that offers free margaritas daily.

A great start to our annual vacation 

We just love this place.  It has the warmest pool of any hotel we have ever stayed at.  The staff is extremely helpful and nice, especially Jaime!  He is great.  This is our second time back within a year.  We did the whale shark excursion since we missed hombre season last year by about 2 days.  This hotel puts you away from the Norte playa and restaurant row.  If you want to be partying pass 10 pm, you would want to stay north of the Ferry.  This is a great place for family and couples who don't want to party too hard at night.  We rented a golf cart for 24 hr this time.  check the weather if you are renting when you arrive.  There are about 5-10 different rental companies.  The bigger size tend to run out.  

Another great stay

Older hotel, older units, but a place I will bring my whole family to someday. It was Easter weekend (lots of locals who had the weekend off) so it was a full island, but we really enjoyed our 2-day stay - especially after a week at a busy Cancun resort. They even gave us a little Easter basket and had a towel shaped like a turtle on the table with little blossoms on it.

Rent a golf cart and cruise at your own pace. Didn't eat at the restaurant - the stay was too short.

ATM was out of pesos so get them before you get to the island and save some stress.

We just got back from Isla Mujeres and were very happy with our stay at Worldmark Isla Mujeres (I am a Worldmark owner).  We were in a Studio King with a pull out couch for our kids.  We were on the second floor with a view of the pool but no hammock which we were kind of disappointed about.  The staff were nice and we arranged to have a golf cart waiting for us when we got there ($55 a day).  The grounds are very well kept. Our room was very nice and they turned down the pull out bed for us each night (they will also do a cleaning and linen change which I don't recall all Worldmark places do).  There is no beach but the harbor is there and it was nice to see the boats.  The place is SOOOO quiet.  My kids got up early and we went to the pool and I made them get out and we went to the beach because I was so afraid of waking up other guests.  We were right next to a noisy family but we asked politely to turn down their music and they did.  The restaurant has weird hours and I think closes if people aren't ordering (we were hungry one night and didn't want to go out and it was closed but wasn't supposed to be).  We tried to order pizza and didn't get a lot of help just a number to call from the front desk (I should have asked them to order it for us but my husband just ended up taking the golf cart out and getting it). We also had to pay for WiFi ($15 for the week for 2 devices at a time). Overall a very nice location (in the middle of town) with close proximity to the grocery store and restaurants...but you do need a golf cart or scooter, I think,  to enjoy the island!
