Good comfortable bed and lovely large apartment. The staff expecially Neelam was very professional and friendly. Close to bus stop no noise and very clean. Well done to the cleaning staff and hotel manager. Keep up the good work. Hope to see you soon.

Nice Hotel/ Apartment

Apartaments are close to Bay, about 8 mins. Clean rooms with kitchenette. Nice and smiling hotel Staff. Bikki was very helpful. He adviced me where to go befor check-in. He printed me return flight ticket. In future I plan to Come back to this hotel. I am very pleased with my stay at hotel.

Very good stay.

The Staff, both day and night staff, were all very, polite, friendly, professional and helpful. I kindly thank them all.  I thank Patricia who is an outstanding Operations Manager also and Nena, the building supervisor and to Maria who mainly looked after my room with the help of others. The other staff member I had most to do with on a daily basis over my eight weeks here was Neelu who was outstanding in her responses to all the guests and their queries. It was always good to see a welcoming face in the morning and the same when I arrived back later in the day; as well as someone who would gladly listen to the day's highlights.  Thank you Neelu and your dedication to your work.  Thank you night staff.

I felt I had to do a review, as before arriving I read these reviews and was really worried on what to expect. We were in a 2 bedroom apartment. Very modern. We did have a problem with both showers, but they instantly tried to resolve the problem. Very clean. Staff your excellent, very professional. We loved our holiday Vicky Scott

Lovely 2bed Apartment 

Stayed in a studio apartment for 2 nights. Did the job pretty well, spacious room with working a/c. Some minor issues with the bathroom such as no cold water coming from the tap, although this wasn’t too bad since there was another tap in the kitchen area that worked fine. Apartment was close to the bay so easy to walk along to go to restaurants and get the bus into Valletta. Wouldn’t recommend driving if your not used to small one way roads as parking is mostly on the street and may be a little confusing.

Good place to stay

The apartment that we have stayed in was very spacious with 2 separate bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living room and kitchen. It was clean and in a great location. It was located near by the Sliema beach. The staff was very friendly. Rely good value for money. 

Nice stay

We had a studio in the building next street. We stayed for 6 nights. The studio was enough large, with balcony. The area is quiet. The studio was cleaned every day, the stuff was very friendly. WiFi works very well.
We traveled by public transport so is this location very well - near is the bus stop Ponsoby. The Ferry to Valeta is near too.

Good value

The location of the apartment was close to the harbour front but unfortunately located on a quite busy street one side the pavement was damaged and the other side they had built on the pathway. The apartment was next to a shop that had everything you need for groceries.

The apartment upon arrival was dirty the towels given were not clean and the layout of the apartment was not good. The kitchenette and the living room were separated from the bathrooms and bedrooms by an extremely long hall way. The kitchen utensils were dirty the plates and cups were dirty. The microwave did not work but was replaced by one of the cleaners. The next day the operations manager visited us as the first night we complained at the reception but the staff at the reception said they couldn't help. The operations manager organised 2 cleaners to go through the apartment it was then we discovered the toaster in the apartment had a different plug than the sockets in the apartment. We were then told the usual cleaner was on holiday and would return the next day. The operations manager gave us a voucher for a free breakfast in the bay view hotel which also has the swimming pool that was advertised with the apartment. But after thinking and reviewing the whole event some compensation/ discount was asked for but the management refused to offer more than the free breakfast which was not surprisingly substandard . We spoke to other managers after the breakfast to come across the same attitude and did not really care.

On summary the apartments could be a reasonable place to stay but it seems the hotel chain don't mind the complaints. If they had some managers who were trained and more successful in the hospitality sector the faults would be addressed. The kitchen facilities were very strange as the apartment has 5 beds but there were only 3 glasses 3 cups 4 plates 3 bowls and only a few knives folks and spoons. The hospitality training of the management is obviously lacking in this ST chain of hotels and apartments. As for the advertising of a swimming pool at the location but actually at another Hotel shameless

Could of been a great stay if it wasn't for the poor condition of the apartment

Just spent 5 nights at Blubay Apts and wouldn't go again. Worst for me was that there were no pillow or mattress protectors and the sheet was small so didn't tuck in so kept moving. Cooking equipment was very sparce, no wine glasses, no tea towel provided or any washing up items. We had no ironing board and the iron didn't work, we asked for another one and they gave us one that had burnt plastic on! One day we arrived back after a long day out and the cleaner hadn't been, she then knocked on the door at 6.30 when we were getting ready to go out! another day she came late afternoon. The towel holder and toilet roll holders where hanging off and the shower door didn't work and water leaked all over the floor! The pictures we saw were very misleading. Will go elsewhere next time.

By no means "Luxury"

Pictures when booking where of there other hotels.   Our room was damp and had black mould on the ceiling.   Felt like you where sleeping in a damp smelly bathroom.   Hot water didn’t work!  Reception didn’t help atall.bare in mind we had a 3 month child with us    We managed to work it in the end but had to wait good 40min before boiler heated up again!     Don’t waste your money here  spend a little more and you can get 10X better
