Really incredible hotel with wonderful modern rooms. The original and augmented details are unique. The library is palatial and the breakfast and the space  were perfect.
The staff were helpful and sat at a lovely desk in the vaulted entryway. On a plaza in the meandering streets of the old section. I found it hard to locate at first, but it is easy to walk to the palace museums and other parts of the city in just minutes. 

Stayed in two palazzos in Italy: Genoa and Catania 5 stars 

We chose to stay here was they have the best pool area. The rooms are very nice & modern. The hotel grounds are beautifully laid out but are very neglected, overgrown and the management don't seem to care. The "private beach" is not near the hotel and not maintained. Rubbish everywhere. The private beach at Reveries is much nicer, clean and private! The location is isolated, which is good if you wish to be in a quiet spot, but bad if you need anything from the shops. The staff are very nice, though most are lazy and seem uninterested in looking after guests. Our room wasn't serviced daily, even if we asked. The manager is lazy and dodgy. Lied to us about our domestic flight back to Male being "delayed" when we knew the flight schedules and he had simply not organised the tickets for the earlier flight that we paid for. He clearly favours the female staff while speaking horribly to some of the male staff that are actually the best workers there. The major issue however is the food, which is very average. The breakfast "buffet" had cold eggs, sandwiches, cold bread, some rice, and a piece of fruit. Looked like they served us leftovers and was cold every day! The meals from the menu aren't much better, but at least they are served warm and are edible. DO NOT include meals when booking. The food at Reveries is very good and there are a couple of local cafes. Lots of mosquitos on the island. Beaches do have lots of rubbish as that is where the locals dump it.

Pool area is the best feature of this hotel. Most of the staff are very nice. The rooms are very comfortable.

Excellence room value, well presented, cleaned dally. Main desk staff very helpful at any time of the day. Bars and restaurants good value. Journey time from airport approx  half an hour with  cost between 25 to 30 dollars.

4 day stay

This hotel is for someone who wants to get away from everything and just relax because there is pretty much nothing else to do apart from going to the beach. It is not near anything. A let down though, was that staff were not properly trained and were often not helpful.

The hotel is located in the centre of the city, is quiet and not expensive. The rooms are more than ok. Staff does not speak a good english though and check-in and check-out are very slow. There was a problem with the washbasin, it was leaking and water was almost everywhere on the bathroom floor. However I recommend this place.

Budget hotel with nice rooms

Where to start...a room with no hand soap,towels,window....just landed today & already searching frantically for a way out!where our complaints were brought to the attention of staff we were told we would be seen to in 30 minutes...interesting when it's seems we are the only fools staying In the hotel really dangerous area also:(!STAY AWAY
