This is a beautiful, well-maintained guesthouse, with many types of accommodation, private, clean, with beautiful gardens and a great restaurant. Very helpful staff; great value for money. Note that wifi in the chalets at the back of the property is poor.

Found this hotel while stranded at night in Leribe. Beautiful stone buildings with very decent rooms. Has a restaurant for dinning and child seats when travelling with infants. The hotel is centrally located in northern Lesotho, making places like Maseru, Butha Buthe and Katse Dam easily accessible. Not far from the Kome Caves.

Great accomodation at amazing prise!

My room was clean and nicely decorated. The AC worked fine and I slept well. 

The hotel was surprisingly large and rooms were spread across multiple different buildings, so the rooms may vary depending on the building.

There was a smell of mould in my bathroom. At a closer look it wasn't a surprise, as there was no ventilation in the bathroom. 

The WiFi signal in my room was weak. My phone could connect to it only close to the windows, but with my laptop connecting wasn't an issue. At first the landing page of the WiFi didn't work and connecting through it didn't work. At around 6 PM it started working. A voucher from the reception was needed to connect. 

The location was good in the center of Hlotse. A good supermarket was located right next to the hotel. 

The breakfast was adequate. 


Nicely decorated and comfortable room

The security and reception staff were welcoming, but no smiles, not bad!! We enquired on the prices and requested to be shown the rooms before we booked. So we knew what we in for.  The rooms are fine, moderate clean but my toilet room had an unpleasant smell. Tiny TV, food was nice, the hotel restaurant is the only hotel in town.  The place is just good for one night stay only!!  Oh but nice views

Moderate Stay!

The hotel attendants were not receptive; they did not smile or welcome us upon arrival at the Reception. The internet was not good and the food too was not that good. The room was better with blanket electric warmer but the TV was not working properly

Leribe, Hlotse, Mountain View Hotel

For anyone on a Business trip, there is no wifi offered. When you ask Reception, they tell you that wifi is available for conference halls.

There are only 5 TV channels with no News channels.

There is no aircon in the room and the TV points look terrible.

Would not Recommend for anyone on Business trip

Poorly maintained and yet very good facility. I don’t understand the wisdom of having no WiFi in the rooms. You guys can have a lot of business from running the facility professionally. Every time I return to your facility it seems worse than the last time I was there

Disappointed

This is one of the worst hotel experiences I have had in years. I was a solo woman travelling for work, and they placed me in a remote 'chalet' which I complained about as it felt too isolated to be safe, with flimsy locks, but they did not change my room. The lights did not function well, there were no bedside lights, and the room was freezing and there was only a small space heater which only heated 2 feet around itself. I was also given only decorative pillows as they had run out of normal sleep pillows. Finally, drunk men arrived in the night, and after making a ruckus they tried to get into my room. There was no phone or internet therefore no way to call security, so I had to stay awake all night waiting for the men to try to get in again. DO NOT STAY HERE.
