Friendly Kenyan hospitality. Lovely nature around. Great food. Reasonable rates at least when we went. Lodge was empty.

Wonderful experience. Beautiful area--rooms have amazing views. Right next to the park with lots of animals in view. Easy to grab a truck to explore the inside of the park. Staff was friendly, the food was pretty-good (not amazing).Note: Motorcycles are not allowed inside the park and the hotel is located inside the park.

The view when you walk to your lodging was spectacular.  The terrace to look at over the valley was relaxing.  The staff was friendly and we especially  enjoyed meeting a local artist.  Mr. Daniel Mutinda had a few pictures and cards displayed but they did not do them justice for how amazing these works of art are.   A staff member introduced us to Mr. Mutinda and we ordered several pictures from him of the birds and wildlife.  So kind and appreciative of the staff who made our stay very nice.
We enjoyed the entertainment in the evening as well.

Excellent Stay in a Beautiful Setting!!

We traveled from Masai Mara to Lake Nakuru and after a wonderful afternoon game drive with lions, hippo, leopard, rhino, lots of birds and primates, we arrived to the lodge around sunset. It’s a beautiful property, likely the nicest in the area. Service was excellent, food was good, with a lot of variety. We showed up for breakfast at 9:10, despite it closing at 9, and they were more than happy to accommodate our late arrival! Huge thanks, and wonderful accommodation!

The room was clean and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful.  The buffet style of food was delicious. I was very impressed by the variety of food selections. The view of dinning hall was beautiful! The lodge is in the park for convenient game drives.

We are four of us, Mom, Dad, Wife and I, stayed here for one night during our Kenya & Tanzania Safari trip. The lodge surely is in one of the most beautiful location with elevated view of the national park and the lake at the distance, during dawn and dusk the view is amazing and gets edged in ones momory. The layout of the lodge is well spread out, we stayed in standard rooms and it was sufficient, as it had all the amenities. The running water was alkaline/hard water, so it was interesting while taking a shower. In the evenings one needs a torch while coming over to the dinning area. The dinning hall I will say is the heart of the place, the buffet was simply one of the best we experienced during our entire safari trip to Kenya and Tanzania. I must mention, the Chef came over to enquire about the food, when we were all sitting together having beer after lunch, and when we said its our first day of the safari and we wanted to try Kenyan dishes, he made separate dishes for our family to experience during the dinner. We were extremely touched by the Chef’s gesture and we really loved the food, from then on I had ugali whenever I could get my hands on it. Grateful to the Chef, you made our stay memorable.

The mattress could have been better but all around excellent. All staff without exception were so friendly and helpful. Thank you .

This lodge is immersed in the beautiful tranquil nature of the park. The pool is beautiful. The breakfast and dinner buffets were excellent and a lovely dining area. The grounds are stunning. My room had a patio looking with a view of the national park - it was a dream! I was very comfortable and happy here. It was well worth the upgrade on my tour package!

Lake Nakuru Lodge is one of the best properties in the area overlooking the grasslands and the lake with a watering hole right next to it for viewing animals. We saw a large herd of cape buffaloes in the middle of the night right outside the property fence. The rooms are park facing, spacious with hot water round the clock. The staff is super helpful and the food is great. They have a spa, a beautiful pool, a small shop with postcards, and an artist who sells his work in house. We absolutely enjoyed our stay here.

This lodge is amazing!  Not only does Mother Nature provide fantastic views but you get to see them right from your porch...flamingos, giraffes, baboons and more!
 The rooms are wonderful and the staff could not be more accommodating.  They provide for your every want, are attentive to your needs and so delightfully pleasant.  This is truly a wonderful experience.
