Fantastic
296 reviewsNice modern hotel, good size room, decent comfortable bed although a little on the firm side but not bad for Japan. Everything in the room you could want, great shower room, decent storage in the wardrobe and drawers, safe, fridge, kettle. For room service they have a system where you can put a magnetic sticker on your door for no room service, full service or towel change and trash emptying (they will come into your room to do this unlike some hotels where they leave the stuff outside your door). There is a cold water refill on each floor near the elevator. In reception they have coffee, tea, juices, Pepsi and 7 up for free on a machine. They also have sake and wine on until 10pm. You purchase a token at reception for 500 yen and then go choose your drink. A nice lounge area also here. If you have not got a breakfast package you can again go to reception to buy a ticket for 2500 yen which you then take to the breakfast room on the ground floor. Everything is paid for at the time, they don’t seam to want you to charge to your room. Breakfast is a mix of Japanese and some western, you can also get a cappuccino or a latte for no extra charge. We also found a nice breakfast place across the road called “O’Mille” it opens at 8am and we had pancakes here and smashed avocado on toast which was very good, the price was less than the hotel in a lovely restaurant setting. The hotel is close to the metro stations and amongst a lot of small but more fast food restaurants so we found ourselves heading for the metro most nights. We had been 4 weeks in Japan by the time we stayed here and the best meal we had whilst in Osaka was at the “Outback” steak house. Have been to lots of these in the US and always a bit hit and miss in recent years, but if you are craving a “normal” steak this was excellent (as was the one we visited whilst in Disney Tokyo). The staff are very efficient and helpful. If you are wanting to leave your case after check out they have a very safe room, lockers for your small bags and safety chain lock to go around your case handle which was excellent and gave peace of mind. Would recommend.
