Wonderful Experience in UAN Kanazawa After reading the stellar reviews on UAN Kanazawa, I went in with high expectations and was not disappointed. From the start, the service was great – the staff were friendly, prompt, responsive in answering my queries while booking. Even though the staff checking us in was not confident with English, she still tried her best and used a translator app to supplement her. The staffs are hardworking in managing the busy soba and bar service while attending to guests. Their hard work shows in how the drinks are always replenished and the area is kept clean. When helping me with reservations and booking taxis, the staff were polite and consistently went the extra mile in assisting me. The design and amenities of the room left nothing to be desired. The warm lighting, woody interior and expansive area were enhanced by thoughtful design choices – such as a pole near a step to help with accessibility. The Dyson hairdryer was certainly a plus that made hairstyling in much easier. Additionally, the housekeeping was clean and efficient. A final icing on the cake – the complimentary soba served at night was perfect for warming us up after experiencing Kanazawa’s cold rainy weather.
