This is a sports hotel for bicycle people with an arena attatched. Professionals do their training there. Rooms are good, but like every where in Japan,  space is best  for one person

Stayed for a couple of nights with friends while visiting Naoshima island. The hotel was quite comfortable but not great on character. The location is a bit too far from the town for walking so had to use the taxi quite a bit for commuting costing about Y900 for each trip.

I don’t recommend staying here. We booked this to stay when visiting the museums in naoshima. The biggest issue is the very uncomfortable bed and pillows, we could barely sleep. It’s also pretty far from the port and there isn’t a shuttle or bikes to use, so you’ll need to use a taxi each time. There also isn’t anything to do over there, there isn’t a bar and the restaurant isn’t very good. We had better food in Uno port. There is a spa but it’s not usable on most days because of the bike races and there isn’t a way to know before you book. They also charged 1,500 yen because we lost one of our room keys, which is an unreasonably high fee. We thought it would be a cute and unique hotel, but it was overall disappointing.

Unique, but not in a good way

Super cute modern hotel!! Just located at the edge of Uno port, guests can have a great view of the Ocean and the bicycle tracks ! From Uno st, it is about 20min walk so i recommend you take the free shuttle bus. The restaurant also has a great view and food is reasonable and lovely as well. I highly suggest to book a room with a balcony ! They also have a public bathing facility on the 2nd floor, and have washing machine and drier for free use for the guests. Overall, greeeeat stay.

Worth the money! View is one of a kind!

A very reasonably priced hotel designed around a bicycle race track.  The rooms are very small, but have great views for the track and the Sea.  The higher floors have better views and balconies.  Ideal location for visiting Naoshima Island (a 20 minuted ferry ride from Uno Port) or betting on the bicycle races.Rooms are pretty minimal (and small) - but efficient.  Bathrooms have good water pressure and hot water.  Sink is in the room itself.  Beds are twin size...  The room safe is very odd - a mall cube (8" x8") that is not fixed to the floor or wall - serves no purpose - you could literally walk off with it!The restaurant is OK, the staff is very nice, however, the food is basic and the menu never varies.  The bar drinks are good.

Although the rooms were very small, we enjoyed our stay at this unique hotel. It was entertaining watching the cyclists training during dinner time.

Cute quirky hotel

We booked this hotel as an access hotel for Naoshima, as some of the closer options to the train station and port were not available. It was a bit of a walk from the station with luggage- we ended up taking a taxi to go to the port the next morning. The hotel was nice- small rooms, as expected for Japan. I had no idea it was a bicycle-themed hotel as there is a speed cycling track on premises. It was modern. Beds were a little too hard. If I were to go to Naoshima again, I would probably either just book another option or stay on Naoshima itself.

Far from JR station, but fine otherwise

Very nice hotel, it's brand new and the rooms are massive and very well kept and nicely decorated with designer furniture and accessories. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Bed was super comfortable and massive (two single beds, but they were together so it was like one very large king).Only thing I'd mention is it's quite far from the port, so you'll need to take a taxi which to be fair are quite cheap (it's the option we took a few times), or walk 20 min (not a very nice walk as it's on a motorway). They also have a free shuttle which we took once, but the first one is not until around 10.15am so not ideal if you're planning on taking an early ferry to the islands.Definitely the nicest hotel in the area, so it's either this hotel or staying directly on Naoshima.
