I stayed here for 2 weeks whilst visiting Hokkaido University. The location is close walking distance to the University campus and very close to the subway station. It’s a nice 25 minute stroll through the pretty university campus to JR Sapporo.
The price is really good value. Great aircon. The rooms are large for the price and rooms include a washing machine and dryer meaning I could travel light on a long stay.
Good Wi-fi. Free coffee in the lobby. Very kind and helpful staff even when checking out before 5am. 
I would definitely stay here again when back in Sapporo.

Very nice stay and friendly helpful staff

Sapporo Mets is very conveniently located right next to the subway station (¥210 from JR Sapporo, per person per way), and there is a combini in the same building as the hotel. The big rooms have separate beds, but it does have individual washers and dryers, bathrooms, air conditioning, tv, Internet for each room. Very convenient to go to in the middle of your trip if you want to have a lot of laundry done. Friendly staff too. Full board is available but then you will miss out of the amazing curry that is available in Sapporo.

Miniature apartment for a good price

Comfortable and clean room. Good location! Near train station so it means you do not have to lug your luggage for miles!

The room's layout is very studio-like! has a home-feel to it.

Will stay at again. good food nearby ensures you are never hungry!

Comfortable Hotel

This is  hotel that has probably not changed for a few decades. Rooms are clean, small, and not so quiet. HOwever, thee is a kitchenette, a washing and drying machine, and free coffee/tea.

Beds are OK, and one really lacks an armchair.

Breakfast is just terrible. EUropean breakfast is bread and some supposed jam; Japanese is not so much better.

People are very friendly and try to be as helpful as possible.

A old hotel, with some amenities

This is apparently part of a chain of Hotels throughout Japan, which may or may not be related to the soft drink company of the same name.  Our stay was pleasant: the rooms are, by Japanese standards, quite spacious, and include not only the usual facilities but also a kitchenette, fridge, and washer/dryer.  Although the rooms lack wireless access (my only real complaint about the place), you can get it in the lobby, where there is also a reasonably-priced breakfast as well (although you can go even cheaper with the convenience store right below the hotel).  Well-located, near the city center, with a main branch of the subway about a 7 minute walk away.  For the rates you pay, this is an excellent deal.

Very good deal

This was probably the best hotel I staid at during my trip. It was certainly the best value for money. Reservations via their Japanese-only site may be a bit difficult, but with the help of Google translate and some common sense you should be fine. Alternatively you can reserve via the English Rakuten Travel site (what I did), but you're room options are more limited.

The hotel is located within walking distance from Sapporo station (quite a walk, though). There is also a subway entrance around the corner, two stops from Sapporo station. There's a Lawsons convenience store on the ground floor of the hotel and a super market down the street.

The rooms are quite large by Japanese standards. We had two singles (both were identical, only with a mirrored layout). Each one has a desk, sofa, bed, small kitchen with refrigerator, washing machines, dryer and a bathroom with shower/bath. Internet is available via a LAN outlet in each room (bring your own cable).

Breakfast is available, but it wasn't included in our plan so we didn't take advantage of that.

The biggest problem is that the hotel is located next to a busy street. Since I live next to one myself, this didn't bother me. In addition, the staff speaks little English, so some knowledge of Japanese is probably advisable.
