My partner and I stayed here for six nights and it was fantastic. This is a traditional lodge run by a close knit family who are extremely friendly and helpful.The ryokan style rooms are spacious and comfortable and the lodge is only 3 minutes from the Iwatake gondola and there are shuttles to Hakuba town. The breakfast was traditional and delicious. There aren't many restaurants in Iwatake but grandma at the lodge makes a mean dinner for a very reasonable price. I'd definitely come back here to stay.
