Relaxation Spa Apeze

We stayed for 2 nights here and the experience was awsome. It's a lovely place, super clean and staff is really friendly and tried very hard to communicate in English, although this is sometimes difficult in Japan.
Men and women stay in separate floors, but you have free wi-fi, free welcome drink, and the spa area is really great. I slept wonderfully inside the capsule. I would really recommend it to anyone.

Excellent choice

ah Nagoya...never forget you. Specially because of a very bad night sleep at the Relaxation Spa Apeze and Capsule Hotel. Do not get me wrong the Spa part was great and the concept of everyone walking around in the same pijamas like clothes was funny. Everything about the spa was great with the exception of the sleeping quarters and some of the common areas like the restaurant. Let me tell you that the interesting part of sleeping in a capsule got old really fast as the mattresses are very very thin(like sleeping on the floor, thin) and very hot inside them. Yes outside the air conditioner was blaring but inside the capsules itself felt stuffy and very warm. Another thing that was very annoying for those of us non smokers was that old smell of cigarrett smoke everywhere. Of course the restaurant had a nonsmoking area but there too, the smell of smoking was heavy since there were several people smoking openly on the other side.  However one good thing is that it is located in a nice downtown part of Nagoya so it is very easy to go out and find yourself something nice to eat and visit the crazy stores all around. Thumbs up for the SPA, thumbs down for the capsule hotel. Never again feeling!
