Ichiitei Hakone

We stayed one night and thought the hotel was very nice. They had two private onsen that could be used as a family or couple. We had the breakfast plan which was well worth the added price. Breakfast was very big, traditional Japanese, as if the owner was your own Japanese grandmother. Room was tatami mats and the futons were very comfortable. The room had a fridge, tv, heater and safe. The owner upgraded our room as there weren’t many guests at the time. The only down side was the hotel was quite old, with that said everything worked and we had no problem. As for English, the owner didn’t seem to speak any, though she was very kind. There were pre-written rules in English that explained everything. 女将さんがとても親切でした。宿泊の前日にも連絡をくださりとても丁寧だと感じました。また、当日にも部屋をトイレ付きの部屋に無償でアップグレードできます、と連絡をくださいました。 価格はとても安く、全体的に建物の古さを感じましたが、この安さであったら許容範囲内です。古いですか全て安全に使用できました。問題ありません。 なにより温泉がプライベートだったのが良かったです。貸し切りでゆっくりできました。 朝ごはん付きのプランにしたのですが、朝から満腹になる量でした。湯豆腐で温まりましたし、どれも優しい味付けで美味しかったです。また利用したいです。
