8 reviewsOur second stay here and we weren't disappointed. APARTMENT: We stayed in the terraced apartment. It was spotlessly clean on arrival. Bright rooms. Fully-equipped kitchen (no microwave) with cooking and eating utensils, and convenient adjacent dining area with large table. Cupboards a bit high up. Large bedroom, comfortable bed and pillows. Plenty of cupboard space. Somewhat noisy from square below, but never too loud with windows closed. Bathroom with plenty of hot water. Ample supply of towels and toilet paper (and bidet!). LOCATION: In lovely Santa Margherita Square, not swamped by visitors. Plenty of students and local youngsters, many eateries. Supermarkets and groceries close by. Easy walking distance of nearest water bus stop. HOST: Enrico Lupelli is a great host, a gentleman, who keeps his place in good condition. Any small problems were rectified quickly. Liquid refreshment in fridge on arrival! LIKE TO SEE: Washing machine; rail on staircase, lower cupboards in kitchen. COMMENTS: Be aware that it's about 35 steps up, no lift. If you're coming from Marco Polo Airport, consider paying a bit more to take the Alilaguna Orange Line water bus to Ca'Rezzonico stop, as it's only 5-6 minutes' walk and one bridge. Arriving by rail or bus and it's 15-20 minutes' walk and many bridges (or a boat ride from there to Ca'Rezzonico).
