48 reviewsWe stayed in the Macchiato apartment which was quite big enough for the 2 of us. The kitchen is tidily packed away in a cupboard but provided a fridge, microwave & 2 rings which allowed us to cook our own meals when we wanted (including swordfish from nearby Rialto market, reached by traghetto!). The heating worked, there was plenty of hot water, the wifi was excellent and the location was quiet - down a short cul-de-sac off one of the main routes from Rialto to San Marco. The little restaurant at the end of the street (Taverna San Lio) provided good food & the COOP supermarket is only a few minutes walk away. Hugo met us on arrival to guide us through the Venice maze and explain everything - we knew he was readily available if we needed anything. Extras available included shopping trolley & wellingtons!
