We stayed for a week at the Gafada 2 in Trapani. We had the apartment with a private terrace, and the outside area - if it does not rain - has sun from around 11 am to 3 pm.
There is plenty of space and the apartment has everything you need including kitchen and bathroom. The location in the old town is perfect and the walking street in the center is close by.
The local restaurants near the Gafada 2 are highly recommended. Our favorite is the Trattoria del Corso which has all the traditional and delicious dishes at very good prices.
The apartments offers a traditional coffee machine, and you can buy fresh bread at the bakery shop only 30 meters from the Gafada front door. 
Trapani is a nice town and a stay at the Gafada 2 is recommended. The service level is high and the hostess speaks good English.

Good room with terrace

Our 2nd story apartment was basically dinette, bedroom and small bath. Add two suitcases and a couple of day packs and we were really crowded. However it is nicely positioned in Trapani and the owners very helpful with daily contact. I took exception to WWII pictures in reception area--made it difficult to go through this area. They would be more appropriate In a museum where one would be prepared to digest painful history and not a lobby area which usually has beautiful pictures highlighting the assets of the area for the traveler. The apartment was very clean and there were clothes lines available on the balcony. The neighborhood has its own rhythm, different from my home, but that's what we came for to live like a native. Clean but Small Place

I have stayed here for 7 nights. Old town, near Sea, Park, Bus and Train station. Frenly Liana will help everything You need, just ask about map of Trapani or any advice. My priority - Erice and Marsala of cours.

Very frendly

Gafada 2 consists of 2 renovated buildings located opposite each other on the narrow street in the old town. Our appartment was spotlesly clean, had tiled floors, quite spacious, small kitchen with necessary utensils, bedroom with comfortable double bed, bathroom with washmachine, essential toiletries, good towels. Quite small TV with lots of Italian and international channels. Good quality free wi-fi.  Parking on the street, not sure about payment. Friendly owner, speaks little English, his
 wife speaks more. 
Only drawback is that door to small balcony faces same balcony 3 metres away across the street. And they should change the bulbs- white walls, floor tiles, illumination bit like in surgery room.

Very decent appartment

We stayed for three nights in the apartment, and were pleased with it in general. Clean, comfortable, but has no amenities for tea. I understand that Italians drink coffee, but a kettle would be nice.
And the towels were way too thin after being used for a long time.
Overall impression - a nice and modern apartment in an authentic Sicilian atmosphere.
