20 reviewsStayed at Il Carro del Colle for 8 nights in June. We arrived to a very friendly welcome and a gift of a homemade tart. Our apartment was extremely clean and had everything we needed for our stay, including some croissants, toasted bread, jams, Nutella, coffee, tea, juices, etc for breakfast. The view from the apartment was amazing and we would sit outside every evening having dinner until dark. The family of the farm were extremely friendly, working very hard 6 days of the week on the land. They had a donkey, a couple of horses, cats, dogs, chickens and sheep. The pool was a good size, and again had a fantastic view of the countryside. The farm is situated down a lane about 400m from the main road, and about 10 minute drive to the nearest supermarket. This was the perfect place for us to stay while visiting Umbria on our motorbike. Would definitely stay here again if in the area and would recommend here if you want peace and quite.
