A very quaint restored mid-evil village. The room was very clean and comfortable and a suitable breakfast awaits your.  The hostess didn't speak much English but we got by with communication.  Very quiet and good sleep quality

Mid-evil times

Great hotel, wonderful hosts, the breakfast is beyond praise. Very peaceful place, picturesque lake and scenery. The hotel has its own parking, but parking on the luggage would have to bear 200 meters.

Very nice hotel!

We enjoyed several nights here over Easter. The rooms are immaculate and beautifully presented. Breakfast was delightful served in a beautiful room with spectacular views. A very relaxing few days in a scenic part of Italy.

Fantastic host and beautiful location

We found out about this place by accident. We were in the area and were looking for a place for New Years. When we saw this place we immediately booked 2 rooms to stay. The reason was the beautiful place in the old buildings connected to each other and very nice price. 

The rooms are very nicely done, the owner is very nice and the breakfasts were just awesome. They took place in the owners place on the top of the building and the view from there was great. 

Every room has a different atmosphere, differently done. Overall it is done in a modern way leaving the traditional "antique" atmosphere in the air.

We really enjoyed our stay. We stayed for a week and everything worked just perfect.

excelent New Year's

I think this is the most beautiful and comfortable b and b I've stayed in. Flavio was a wonderful host, he helped carry our bag from the nearby car park on a very wet day, he runs the place with a true passion, the rooms are beautifully appointed and the bed was extremely comfortable. Breakfast was a real treat with a selection of delicious meats, cheeses, breads and home made fruit salad. The medieval village is so interesting and there are some lovely walks around the area. Lake Garda is only a short drive away, Lake Tenno is close by and a beautiful spot. We ate in a local Agriture just a short walk to the next village where they make all their own wine, olive oil and other produce - excellent meal. Such a shame the sun hardly came out whilst we were there, I would certainly go back as we loved the place. Thanks Flavio.

Wonderful

I imagine this place would be much sought after in the summer months (lots of alpine walks and an incredible greenish-blue lake just up the road from this still-vibrant medieval village just above Riva del Garda), but if you're looking for a winter retreat to get that book or article finished this is the perfect place. Peaceful, quiet, run by one of the most urbane, intelligent men I've ever met (who apparently gave up the Milan rat-race to set up this great B&B-type setup at Canale di Tenno), this place was just what I was looking for.
The rooms (at least two are self-catering) still have that "very new" feel, but I'm sure they'll take on extra character and warmth with time. The couldn't not, considering the owner.
