B&B Villa Gloriana

This B&B is located perfectly! It was easy to get to from Verona (about 40 mins on a bus) there are multiple bus stops in close vicinity, and it is even more accessible if you have a car! There is a fully equipped kitchen and a few shops which are a very pleasant 5 minute stroll away, selling the most amazing selection of cheese, meats, and seafood. Every morning the host would surprise us with a very hearty breakfast which would last us until the afternoon. Although there are snacks available for when you get peckish. Maria made every start to the day very special and gave us a real taste of Italian hospitality and culture! This really felt like a home away from home. The home is incredibly clean, the room had air conditioning and had everything you needed such as towels, soap, and hairdryer. The windows have shutters which were perfect for getting the sun out for when you want to sleep longer. Almost too good in fact, as we overslept and nearly missed our boat to Limone. Maria was very understanding however, and gave us a lift to the bus stop which was a 10/15 min walk away. The area is very calm, beautiful, and serene. There is a local restaurant nearby serving authentic cuisine for a very small price as the area is not touristy. And prices are not inflated. This was perfect after a full day of travelling on busses and being surrounded by people at the lake. The area is surrounded by vineyards which you can visit and do wine tasting, and a beautiful church which chimes in the evenings. Everyone is very respectful at the B&B and although there are communal areas, you hardly bump into anyone there or in the pool so if feels like you're there alone. We cannot recommend this Place more! Will definitely be coming back and we hope Maria is well! Thank you for making our stay in Italy so precious and impressive!
