We had a wonderful stay at Villa Cascine. It is a beautifully renovated old house, situated at a hill above Sestri Levante. The hosts are super kind. It feels like staying at friends. The breakfast was beyond excellence, probably one of the tastiest we have ever had while travelling, served on the terrace which offers a breathtaking view. Will definitely stay here again!

Much more than just a beautiful house with a breathtaking view

We stayed at Villa Cascine one night only, but if we had more time we would have stayed much longer. The place is really awesome and furnished with a very good taste. Roberta took very good care of us. The breakfast with the view over the city, priceless!

A wonderful place

We stayed at Villa Cascine for 5 days this July. It is sometimes the case that Tripadvisor reviews can overstate the quality of a B&B but that is not the case here. It is very difficult to find the words to convey what has been expressed by all the other people who have stayed at Villa Cascine but let us try even though nothing that we say will do justice to the wonderful experience of staying at this place.

From the start, Roberta’s communication by email was so prompt and her ability to communicate fluently in English made it very easy for us. We can also confirm that the apartment is exactly as described in the website – it is a beautiful and spacious accommodation with lovely accents preserved from the past life of the property as an old olive press. The heavy wood beam ceilings above the bed, authentic tiled floors and stone vaulted entrance to the apartment all combine to create a special atmosphere.  It is a lovely property in the hills of Sestri Levante and the drive up to the house is not at all difficult – even for people like us who drive on the other side of the road back home. 
Without exaggerating, Roberta’s breakfasts for two of us could have fed six people and they were absolutely out of this world! The sweet and savoury treats were so varied and delicious.  But above all, the warmth and kindness of Roberta and Andrea transformed a wonderful stay into a magical 5 days in Sestri Levante that we will never forget.  These are 2 people who genuinely want to ensure that their guests are happy.  There is an honesty, kindness, warmth and generosity of heart in both of them which transcends mere hospitality. Like others before us, we arrived as guests but left as friends.  In more than 20 years of travelling throughout Europe this was the best “B&B” at which we have stayed. Therefore, the only negative thing that we can say about this place and its wonderful hosts, is that it will be very very difficult for anything else to measure up to the experience of staying in Villa Cascine.  If you decide to come, your only regret when you leave will be that you did not stay for longer.

The Property, The Breakfasts, The Hosts - The Best, The Best, Simply The Best!!!

but the special issue of this location is the increedible warm hospitality provided by Roberta and Andrea that make you feel better then home!

Villa Cascine is literally the best B and B possible! Roberta and Andrea are incredible hosts. They are friendly, helpful, wonderfully lovely, give recommendations and are so keen to help out in every way. They drew us maps and gave us help with where to visit and what to see with train times and restaurant reviews. Roberta's breakfasts are 5 star with such an array of delicious treats and so many options - it's difficult to choose your favourite bit! We ate our brekkie looking over the beautiful view of sestri levante everyday and it was the perfect place for our adventure seeing the cinque terre. The B and B is very private, exceptionally clean and so comfortable! The villa has amazing touches to make your stay really special including a coffee machine, a sauna, a power shower and a music docking station. Andrea even gave us a cigar to enjoy as well as some prosecco and wine. We absolutely loved it!
