Hotel De Amicis

As soon as you walk in the door you feel the welcoming vibes from a very friendly and helpful staff. We had a room on the 6th floor which had a lovely view towards the mountains. Our room was clean and well appointed, with adequate power points for charging electrical appliances. We had a lovely balcony, a great place to relax with a book or a drink! We worked on a bed and breakfast basis. The breakfast was served in a large air-conditioned room and there was a good selection of food. The hotel has a swimming pool and plenty of sun loungers so is a perfect place to relax and enjoy the sunshine. If you prefer the beach it's just a two minute walk! There is a good beach cafe and plenty sunloungers are available for hire. The sea water is clean and very pleasant. There are shops next to the hotel selling basic essentials and a frequent bus service also runs from here so all in all the hotel has an excellent location. We saw many people cycling. This would be a good way to get around quickly and safely as the area is bike friendly. The overall cleanliness and the bar and pool area really impressed us. The lift was sometimes rather slow though so you need to allow time to get up and down to the 6th floor! In all I would certainly recommend this hotel and would definitely go back!
