We spent 3 nights with our 3yo daughter. The spacious bedroom had a small bed for her and a king size bed for us.

Great breakfast (we do care about it and it usually goes a long way towards a positive review) and very pleasant hosts.

The neighborhood is quiet so you will have no trouble sleeping, unless they haven't yet changed the mattress, which sticks out like a sore thumb in this otherwise very positive review. It's a spring mattress, and by this I mean that you'll feel the springs on your body, especially the ribs :-(

I managed to sleep anyway, but my wife not so much. We let the owners know before we left.

The B&B is next to a parking area, but also like a 5 min. walk from the city centre (which is car-free). Great if you're planning to drive around the surroundings (Comacchio, the beaches, or the Delta del Po Park).

The B&B has a 10% discount deal with all the best restaurants in the city.

We would return.

Great stay, but the mattress sucks

This year I have twice stayed at this B&B, where I was warmly received and made to feel at home. Via San Vittore is a very quiet street at a 3 minutes walk from Ravenna's great wonders, the church of San Vitale and the Mausoleum of Galla Placidia.

Like home

The B&B Antiche Mura is an excellent choice for a stay in Ravenna. It's location is only 10mins walk from the main station and historic center is only a 5mins walk away, though still in a very quite area. The breakfast is delicious and includes local specialities like piadine, squacquerone, or mortadella but also tea, coffee, pies, juice, toast, and jam. The room is clean and nice, though storing possibilities for luggage is somewhat limited. Moreover, the room includes a TV, fridge, AC, and free WiFi. The owner, Rosella, also helpfully provides information on places to visit, good restaurants, or travel information. Hence, we can strongly recommend the B&B Antiche Mura! In case we come back to Ravenna, we'd stay there again!

Excellent B&B

My short visit to Ravenna was a wonderful experience thanks to La Signora Rosella and her warm friendly home. It is situated perfectly near the centro storico of this beautiful city. Exploring by foot or by bicycle was so easy. 
My room though small was spotless and the air conditioner was efficient and quiet. Breakfast was delicious and I even had toast and tea!
Thank you Rosella and Silvia. I hope to be back again one day.

Perfect way to see Ravenna

During our euro trip we had an amazing surprise visiting Ravenna. We were very luky to find B&B Antiche Mura, a cute house in the city center. We arrived by train at the railway station, only 10 minutes by walk, but the owner was so helpful to pik us up with her car!!The stay was great, a new confortable and romantic room with lovely fornitures, big and clean bathroom with shower and we really appreciated the free wifi. Delicious sweet breakfast in the morning with italian café and apple pie. We didn’t expect a so charming city, the ancient churchs adorned with mosaics are very close; Rosella suggested us many interesting places to visit, where drink a good glass of wine and also an atelié of mosaics, maybe next time we’ll come to have a class! We hope to come again as soon as possible and have more time to spend in this beautiful place.
